OMG OMG! This is the game I've been trying to remember! I played a demo of this when I was young but I never remembered the name, but this action and the character stuck in my mind and I've been trying to find it for the longest time. Yes! This is that demo level that I played! I've found it! I loved the demo so much! Wonder if I can get it somewhere? Man, I really wanted to play this growing up.

:D Glad you were able to find it again! I've had the same problem remembering old games too, and it's always so nice when you can finally find it. This demo was hugely nostalgic for me too, especially with the Steam Knight! I still think the demo had a couple extra levels (one with a river and woods, and one that was like, lava), but tbh I don't recall ever actually beating those anyway c': You can find BFM on a site like Amazon, but taking a look at it now (for me anyway, since I use the Canadian site) it's one of those old games that has a wicked price hike because it's harder to find :/ (personally, $60+ is WAAAY too steep just for nostalgia's sake, but that's just me lol). Most games I've seen aren't usually that inflated price-wise, but it happens with the odd few. Depends on supply and demand, I suppose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Unfortunately, BFM isn't even a PS1 classic on the Playstation Store, which is a huge bummer :/ Always seems like they never have that one game you REALLY on there lol You COULD always keep an eye out for it in other places though! Sometimes you can find hidden gems in used game shops or stuff like that without breaking the bank. I think that's how we ended up with Metal Gear Solid and a few others a while back :) I know for sure though, that the console itself (a PS2 anyway) isn't that expensive to get if you're that interested and don't have one! c: Sorry for the ramble (I'm really bad for that OTL), but I'm glad this helped you rediscover an old game either way! :) I love seeing people interested in the older titles tbh! Just wish I could be more helpful regarding where to find it :s Honestly, I'd just recommend keeping an eye out for it from time to time. I keep a few games on my wishlist like, semi-permanently on Amazon to see if they ever go down in price. Imo, it's honestly worth it most of the time when you finally get to play a game you've always wanted to try since you were a kid c: Though sometimes they're so different from what you imagined them to be like, but that's half the fun of it ;D

Kalloway Hey it's cool. I ramble too haha. And I totally remember that woods and rivers level. Not sure I ever tried the lava one, but I remember this game being so much like the anime I watched so it left a great impression on me

Kalloway I might just have to see of I can't get it sometime. Hey, btw, how'd you film this? I've started my own gaming channel and I've been trying to figure out how to record myself playing other systems than the PS4. I only do my PS4 at the moment cause it has the built in functions for streaming and recording, but I want to branch out be able to play stuff like this maybe and show people more things.

Yeah, the lava one was one I just recall getting stuck in, and like you run out of energy after a while and just kinda pass out? So I never got through that one :'D When I played this demo, I wasn't into anime at that time (that came later lol), but I always thought it was really neat anyway! Probably one of the first exposures to all that, tbh c: Man, demo discs were the best.

Kalloway Oh yeah! Now I remember that level! Yeah, I'm gonna have to save for this! Btw how'd you record this? I kinda want to branch my gaming channel out to other systems than my PS4

I've only played through the first chapter, but honestly the whole game seems like one big roller coaster :') Really just throws you into it right off the bat, for sure.

It can only be heard when u play this game on a real PS1, which is quite a bummer for those who play this game with PS1 emulators.
