Some of the monsters alone are game breaking. Stealing the petunias from Lily’s forest does massive damage to enemies weak to light. Makes this chapters boss battles a breeze I think on Lily’s boss a single petunia with the off the chain move was dealing like 8k damage to the spirit bosses

Body slam + sub job bp saver + raw power still works for in with bosses

Yeh that is what I am using now. At the same point in this video job wise and are level 24 and it just melts everything with no thought on hard. I do wish difficulty scaled HP.

Could also replace body slam with Pressure strike from the monk class. Hits just as hard and ignores enemies defense on default.

Reached a point in the game where counter savvy and tossing a metric ton of godspeed strikes tends to clear out bosses. I, uh, think I overdid it when grinding XD

Beastmaster stats. Balanced. Right. ^_^ Clearly someone hasn't been collecting monsters. A couple of stacks of 99 and suddenly your stats are maxed out. About the only things that lag behind are Restorative Power, Speed, Aim, Evasion, and Critical Chance. And by "Lag behind", I mean "Higher than any other class, but less than 999". ;p

Very true I'm close to the end now and it's a bit crazy XD I guess they balance is you don't use many of it's abilities haha

@@JoeHammerGaming To be fair, Collecting 99 of everything before Chapter 2 gives Beastmaster endgame stats, Staggering Swipe and Muzzle are both situational, and Mow Down is outright replaced by the passive Indiscriminate Rage. That leaves Mercy Strike for farming Monsters, Mercy Smash (a spammable version of Body Slam that requires an extra attack to finish off bosses and shiny birds alike), and the bosskilling and easily farmable Skeleton Sellsword. So yes, half its kit and the majority of its gimmick is useless in this build, but what remains is so OP that aside from Freelancer's Treat to regain MP, it doesn't even NEED a Sub-Job. And again, this can be done *AS SOON AS THE CLASS BECOMES UNLOCKED!* Aside from dipping into Thief for their special and the occasional Godspeed Strike, this Job has basically carried me the majority of the game. Sure, once Chapter 4-5 comes around and Booster Bun farming becomes easier, this class will fall by the wayside. But again, 999 stats in *CHAPTER 2!*

Only just beat the bard. Things starting to click more now. Gonna grind up the bard skills now for a bit then move on. Slowly slowly for me. But did drop to casual not sure it really helps much

Really enjoying your content :) also I'm struggling so hard on getting the gambler asterisks ;-;
@JoeHammerGaming3 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for joining me! I, haven't found the gambler yet. Is it one of the missable ones?
@KuronDarkly3 жыл бұрын
@@JoeHammerGaming yes it's through a side quest in the the 2nd city gambling hall after getting the beast master job. Ps: I managed to get it finally, all I can say is the fight is easier than the dang side quest

@@JoeHammerGaming Not missable, so much as optional. Both it and the "optional" Job from Chapter 3 are still required to unlock both the final Job and the POST post-game, though. Yes, two post-games. In other words, don't put the game down until NG+ gets unlocked.
