The Braves are so wholesome when they won. It makes me smile. It is an honor to be a fan of the National League champions and I hope we can win this one for Acuna and Soroka who can't play due to injury, and for Freeman who has been a Brave for more than a decade. I also gotta feel bad for Luke Jackson who's been solid this year, but couldn't deliver in the postseason. I think that Bellinger's homerun shook him up a little bit and I hope he can reach his full potential in the World Series. Eddie, Soler, Duvy and Joc came in during the middle of the season and helped us get where we are now. Not to mention Austin RIley with the dark horse MVP season. I sincerely hope the Braves can win the World Series for Atlanta, and all of their fans out there. Chop On!

Throughout the series you could hear the annoyance in Francoeur’s voice at the way the other announcers were clearly rooting for the Dodgers; Jeff did a great job of providing unbiased announcing.

The way the Braves were playing in the first half of the season, not to mention Acuna suffering a season-ending injury; I doubt anyone was expecting the Braves to return to the playoffs, let alone the World Series. What a comeback!

I honestly thought the Braves had a decent shot to make the playoffs at the ASB because analytical sites like fangraphs and 538 showed the Braves were similar to the Mets and better than the Phils. I just never imagined they would beat the Dodgers in the playoffs who were one of the highest ranked teams analytically in history. I was just hoping the Giants or Cards would beat the Dodgers, but even then I didn't have much hope. Yeah I think they caught a few breaks and luck on close plays to steal game 2. And it helped that the Dodgers lost Muncy right before the playoffs..., but the Braves were legit.

Dodgers play the entire NLCS with: - An 8x All-Star, 3x Cy Young, World Series Champion, 4x Wins leader, 3x NL Strikeout leader, 2x no-hitter pitcher - Not one but TWO former Rookie of the Year/NL MVP winners, 2x All-Stars (in less than a six year-span total) - A 5x All-Star, World Series Champion, AL MVP, AL batting champion, 4x Silver Slugger, 5x Gold Glove (all in less than five years) - A World Series Champion, 1x All-Star, CURRENT NL batting champion - A 10x All-Star, 2x World Series Champion, 3x NL MVP, NL Rookie of the year, 2x Gold Glove, 6x Silver Slugger - TWO starting pitchers in the 2021 Cy-Young conversation (both no older than twenty-seven) Dodger fans: "BuT InJURieS!!!" Grow up, you crybaby spoiled brats! Guess it's not so easy to win a full season of baseball, is it? Look at what happens when you don't coast into the playoffs having won the Division with two weeks left. Look at what happens when you throw everything at the wall to lose the Division on the last day of the season, and spend all your energy to BARELY beat the Giants in the playoffs. The Giants got beat, fair and square... but they gassed your team. Congrats on losing the Division to a team that had a 3% chance to make the playoffs! Congrats on spending hundreds of millions more than them, just to run our of steam... again. I'd be more inclined to sound less petty, if more of your crybaby fanbase gave the Braves (who are literally missing their best player) more credit than "well we had so many injuries!". Man up! P.S. Did any of you losers throw your Buehler jerseys on the ground and run them over with your cars, after game 6, or do you only do that with your 8x All-Star, NL MVP, 3x Cy-Young, 3x NL wins leader, 5x ERA leader, 3x NL Strikeout leader Clayton Kershaw? If there was EVER an argument for what a spoiled bunch of brats Dodger fans are, it's that...
@Bloodreign13 жыл бұрын
It's sickening how many of their fans use injuries as an excuse when the Braves, Astros, and Red Sox had injuries to their teams, and Atlanta and Houston with injuries to key pitchers, both made the World Series.
@chrisdarveaux33072 жыл бұрын
You're forgetting the fake sign stealing scandal that MLB promoted to make the Dodgers look like victims while even Kershaw (a great man) admitted that stealing signs electronically made no difference. Fact of the matter is all teams steal signs whenever a runner is on second base.
@walterlv013 жыл бұрын
I'm a Dodger fan who's seen this coming since the 2018 NLDS - we won that 3-1 but the Braves were SUPER young then. They gagged against the Cardinals for a learning experience in 2019 and last year we were very fortunate to get past them. Atlanta is a great team and I hope they take it all because they've paid their dues to get there. All Dodger hats are off to them.

It wasn't an upset. Just because the Dodgers won more games throughout the season doesn't necessarily mean they were better as it would seem. They just got outplayed in the NLCS.

Not an upset. Tired of the politics. They went 7 games last year and Atlanta is far improved from last year. I’d easily take ATL fully healthy over LA any day!
@chopon19023 жыл бұрын
Me too. But we aint gonna sit here and act like that Dodgers team was not built for big games.. that team was worth 260 million dollars I think. One of the best starting rotations and bullpen in the MLB maybe the best rotations ever in mlb history. So it's not politics. I watched over 90 games this year. We shouldn't have made it.. but after the all star break we turned up .. our NL MVP is Eddie Rosario who we got for cold hard cash and somebody else... and like half our starting lineup is hurt or in trouble
@brianemerich25243 жыл бұрын
@@chopon1902 it was for pablo sandoval, who the indians released the next day. thats what we got rosario for. and 88 wins beating 106 wins is always an upset even if baseball is a sport where upsets aren't really the same as in other sports cause anyone can beat anyone in a series any week. the NL east being trash for 100+ games this year is why braves are in the playoffs. that being said the braves were the 3rd best team in the NL after the all star break, you know who was number 2 the dodgers. so even at their best this year the braves were still a step behind and lets not forget the braves got swept in LA last month as well.
@chopon19023 жыл бұрын

Going into this series, not many people gave the Braves a shot to defeat the Dodgers, except us Braves fans, some tend to forget the year previous, the Braves were up 3-1 in the NLCS... They were so CLOSE to going to the World Series in 2020.... Proving to all the naysayers, they had what it took to compete with one of if not the BEST team in all of baseball...
