Why is there a big opening at the front? I mean add a open gate but a medium size shark can easily get in there and kill the diver.... I know it's an experimental craft but still!

It seems unlikely they'd encounter a shark that size where they are, even less likely it would want to attack them.

The sharks were there for a while (over 15 years) and have never attacked anyone and have strong bonds with those who care for them. It’s at the Atlantis resort. Juu jaa Thalassophobia (Greek: θάλασσα, thalassa, "sea" and φόβος, phobos, "fear") is an intense and persistent fear of the sea or of sea travel. Thalassophobia can include fear of being in large bodies of water, fear of the vast emptiness of the sea, of sea waves, and fear of distance from land. same with me but with lakes too.

I wish I could do this at least once in my life too. Getting this close to a great white shark is literally like my biggest dream. I wouldn't even have to get the cage. I'd be willing just to freedive. They look really calm and it looks like you could actually freedive with it and it wouldn't really care. Most people are afraid of sharks but I absolutely love them. Maybe I'll encounter a shark one day. It wouldn't have to be a great white. A tiger or a bull shark would be amazing aswell. Oceanic whitetips, hammerheads and thresher sharks are one of my favorites too. Who knows when but I'm 99,9% sure I'm going to swim with sharks at some point in my life.

These videos are good but the over dramatic voice gets old quick. It needs to be more light hearted and not narrated sounding like your constantly preparing yourself to punch the shark in the face.

Although it is understandable that streamers have to be dramatic to attract views, it is still a pity that this also helps perpetuate the complete nonsense that humans are on the Shark menu. Let alone the extensive scientific data proving this, just the fact that hundreds of humans are not taken daily from bathing beaches around the world. Just watch the free-dive with shark streams out there.

The usual spelling in American English is “chili,” but “chile” is an acceptable variant. The usual spelling in British English is “chilli.” The plurals are “chilies” or “chiles” in the US, and “chillies” in the UK.

Damn if only i had a chance to do something like that i would love to get up close to a great white. I only ever get close to the sharks in my area an i generally have a respect for them because i really love them especially diving in the reef and encountering so many creatures its always fun. I dive in the great barrier reef and i love going to the canyons simply because of how friendly the sharks are bothe reef and the nurse sharks. I hope one day i could have such an experience as you did
