I just bought a 1996 Tracker red 2WD manual with 78k miles, most towed behind a motor home. It has the black fiberglass hard tops. It’s a rust free Texas car.

I was surprised that you can still accelerate in 5th and don't really need to downshift. I driven some wimpy 4 banger Manuals and a lot of those cars are geared where you need to go into 3rd or 4th to have any passing power.

Plus i have a 1996 Geo tracker 16 valves engine 272 Delta cam regrind with header free flow exhaust system no radio speaker back sit no rug old school style i made my own bikini for him old school style renegade 4 in flares 265 70 15 tires on 15 x 10 dp dich wheels no lift crap my look like a toy plus have aluminum pulley plus gd air filter sounds like a v8 mustang and do 100 a hr in the highway no problem plus a lot more on 4x4 in hills trail he is a monter peppy like hell for what it is i kp my in gd condition.I travel a lot to Florida Mississippi NJ Ohio Appalachian mountains all over never have a problem i being in Canada 30 below O and he started right alway being in buffalo NY winter storm and here is my tracker cruising along others stock in the snow no my tracker nice and slow when i travel to hot temp places i put a universal transmission cooler because my is automatic i don't like standards the gear to short plus automatic feel better plus my is base Manuel locks hubs big difference from push button crap electronics hell no im all motor old school style.Right now im up ny state line and believe is around 2 fts plus snow on ground and around 0 degrees or less with the windshield and here is my tracker cruising along only in all wheel drive but soon 4 low jjjj ccr born in the byuoooooo . Nothing like the Geo tracker 16 valves engine poor man horse Spaniard mustang 🐎 lock 🔒 in and kp rolling up hills down hills take care

Glad your making these videos. I enjoy watching these more then people talking about Exotics. If I won the Lottery I would still drive a Tracker!

I have a 99 Tracker that a friend gave to me. I had to put a battery in it, and a push button to start it. 2" spacer lift, and some 235/75 R 15 A/T tires and im in business. Oh yeah just turned over 82,000 miles. Doesn't look as nice as yours though.

Your price was right! What an awesome deal, the 2nd gens are great especially on the road with a bit more power and rack/pinion steering

I have an 89 1.6 8v 3sp automatic with 235/75r15’s 60mph 4k rpm’s. I’m looking for a lower mileage 95 tin top with A/C and automatic trans. Preferably bright red or white.

I know the auto gearing changed even more significantly than the manuals, I'm a little under 4k at 75mph! Finding a 95 is very difficult, probably my favorite year since it has the old dash and 16v, I'll let you know if I come across any

Best year is 1996 Geo tracker 16 valves engine this year they company changes everything gear ratios c joints etc
