Captain Lee, Kate, and Ashton reunite as a team and embark on an exciting new season in Thailand on mega yacht “Valor.” After his brush with death last season and promotion to bosun, Ashton’s work hard, play harder persona is at an all-time high. While his leadership on deck holds strong, Ashton struggles below deck to keep his emotions in check after the crew gets an unexpected surprise that rocks Ashton to his core. Chef Kevin’s high standards and strict rules for the kitchen and service clash with Kate’s stew style, leading to fiery confrontations in the galley. Kate tries to foster a productive work environment for her team, but when Simone feels favoritism to Courtney, the stews go head-to-head. When Abbi is unable to adapt to the high demands of yachting, Brian and Tanner are forced to pick up the extra work. Brian, Ashton, Tanner, Simone, Courtney, and Kate all find themselves in and out of love on the boat, resulting in love triangles and heartbreak. Ashton is so arrogant to sit there and say he’s overcome his aggression issues. Tanner even admits that Ashton was going to punch Kate. It’s scary to see this type of thing happen and for Bravo to do nothing. There has to be policies in place to protect people on these shows. Ashton shouldn’t work again in this industry or any other until such time as he changes his behaviour, apologises for what he has done, accepts his behaviour is 100% WRONG and receives the help he desperately needs.

Note that Ashton’s talk was a means to cut her dwn. He didn’t listen to a word. He then wanted her fired so she wouldn’t get hired in the future.

It was a harmless question. She said "Let's talk about something else. Ashton, how's your Mom?" There was no underhanded agenda. I'm rewatching this season with my husband. When I watched it the first time I hadn't watched any of these after show interviews. I love how Ashton said that the "boys locker room talk should never get out to the girls". That sounds like he understands that if women knew what these boys thought of them they wouldn't be getting any action. I also love how the boys seemed to justify their actions on all of these interviews but on the reunion show they were all so apologetic and then got mad when the apologies seemed to only be coming from one side of the stage. It was priceless when Kate called Ashton out on him taking a year to decide to deal with his drinking or the fact that he had 1 therapy session. I'd love to know if he continued with therapy and if he discovered any of his own flaws.

I am just very surprised with all the positive feedback for Kate and Captain Lee. For me, Kate always chooses and treats staff better if they talk gossip about others. And Captain Lee just covers and ends discussions if Kate does things wrong. I can only imagine it could be very frustrating working in an environment like this.

Ashton's behavior is so narcissistic. The way he spoke to Kate in the kitchen is unacceptable. Kate IS the chief stew and has more leeway and then bringing in her age? I bet the guests have a much better time with her management and don't worry about her age. Bravo should've fired him on the spot. Im surprised this show has lasted for 7 years and hasn't really taken off. It's still has like a cultish status feel to it. No one I know watches this show but I rather enjoy it. Anyway, why are you guys in the comments so easy on Rhylee? Oddly enough I don't think she acts as bad in the interviews so I'm beginning to think some of this is staged. I talked to a crew on a yacht I was a guest on and they love this show...but said the drinking between charters is kept to a minimum. They could have been lying but DAMN, these people on this show can drink.

If you treat Rhylee properly, I also think she's talking nicely to someone, but if you treat her badly, she's exploding, which is OK, in my opinion. Watch the episode where Kevin buys ALL the insects, despite, she nicely asks him to leave a few and he laughs condescendingly at her. Only then does she explode, and so would I.
