This is not a super sensitive character trait problem. This is a spoiled, entitled, manipulative problem. As much as he should have kept his head down and been grateful for keeping his job twice, he went way outside of his responsibilities, wanting everything to line up with his wishes. Remember he said he didn't like Lexi since she stepped in his pile of trash. He kept telling Katie he didn't want that other girl here, he kept making her hold his hand no matter how exhausted she was, he thanked her for lying about him being asleep and actually had the nerve to go to bed.

After watching this series Sandy said that she would have sacked both Matt and Lexi. Quite a few people was backing Matt in the comments previously after they had gone out to dinner as a group and he was consistently badgering, goading Lexi into the eventual argument but as always Sandy was real and said what she said. She said that Matt started it, he was trying to get Lexi to get angry and as I said she would have sacked Matt if she had known what was going on.

Have a massive issue with the way it was edited and the fact Matt being called the instigator on that night. Lexi sat at the table and started talking shit which Matt hears and he reacts. You then need to remember theres no instigating going on when Lexi had already started it just days before and the way she spoke, acted and treated people on the first night out was absolutely disgusting and warrants anyone wanting to hold Lexi accountable at any stage of the season, especially if you're one of the most senior crew members on the boat like Matt is. Lexi told everyone to stand the £%$ down like an entitled spoilt brat, when she should of actually been the one to stand down considering her rank and in now way did Matt ever show this level of subornation. Thank god someone stood up to her. It definitely shows how incompetent Sandy is when she didn't sack Lexi on the spot.

The service towards these charter guests was terrible. Katie wasn’t warm to them, nor was she smiling at them when giving or taking their orders and had the nerve to lie about the Chef sleeping. I hate when restaurants get lazy and do that shit because they don’t feel like it. How do they expect to get expect to get a great tip without going above and beyond for the guests?

It is darn well and UNACCEPTABLE to tell guest on a luxury yacht charter that their chef cannot prepare a snack because he's in bed for the evening.... especially when he is still awake. If I remember correctly, they have roused chefs from their beds to prepare light snacks for guest in past episodes . I would hate to think , this chief stew thought this acceptable because this charter party was primarily if not exclusively Black.??!! If I were watching this back as a member of that charter group, I would be raising holy hell... Bagged chips??!! That is what you call acceptable??!! These were PAYING guest , just like every other charter that this crew worked this season and they were entitled to more than the mediocre efforts put forth. I hope their tip was in line with the below average service they received.

When I saw who the last guest group was going to be I knew Katie screwed up by letting Delaney go. Being tired and a man down with one of the most historically demanding guests on Med is a recipe for disaster. Yet, they deserve 5 start service as much as anyone else. The beet green thing was avoidable. At least Katie should have admitted it to the guests. They deserve the truth.

This season has shown me that they do treat their black employees and guests differently. the black guy who never had Lexi's back bc of the way he grew up (adopted by whites) made him very whitewashed and he would take up for the chef when he would pick on Lexi. They slack on the BLACK GUESTS and I'm still pissed at how they Fired Lexi when they should've fired Matt since he did leave them(quit) the Job then came back

I genuinely feel bad for Matt and how the show used Matt's mental health as complete entertainment and has since received nothing but bad rap for clearly being plagued with anxiety and depression through out the show. The lack of regard from the production company, the captain, crew or indeed anyone who watched the show and thinks Matt should of been sacked for having a panick attack needs to very much hope you or a loved one never experiences one yourself. If you're someone who promotes diversity, inclusion, wellbeing etc and feels that way about Matt please stop and find something else to promote. Fair play to you Matt i dont think i ever come across a more stressful job and you received next to no complaints for doing it which is unheard of in the yachting world. I dont understand how Sandie said to you during the reunion she wouldn't employ you again after you went full cycle for something you shouldn't of been judged on in the first place, and then goes on to beat the biggest fight of all against mental health. What an awful human Sandy is for not recognising how you threw yourself into a ridiculously stressful job and came out the other side the way you did.
