Satya ended my favorite of the MH3 commanders, which is wild since Jund is my favorite. I played him in paper yesterday and had a full playset of Ocelot Prides on the battlefield turn 4. Really silly stuff. Also, really love Kappa Cannoneer with Satya, since the clone will make both unblockable and bigger.

If I had to guess, something funky happens when the game looks for “each other creature” while the creature it’s supposed to ignore no longer exists

Having haste on an attack trigger commander feels so strong, that simple keyword makes Satya sooo oppressive, love him.

Ocelot Pride is so funny how good it is. If it was a one mana first strike, lifelink, that'd already be a great uncommon imo. If it just made more copies with the city's blessing, for one mana that's amazing. And if it only made you cats if you've gained life at the end of turn, it'd still be viable, but it does ALL of them!?

my best guess on the mikaeus interaction is that something about him dying caused the ability to fizzle out, but it is a bit mystifying. would love to know where you copped the shirt!

I built Satya with a lot of artifacts support. Practically made the deck an artifact shell with some energy cards added. Added simulacrum synthesizer to the deck and some really good three four and five drop artifacts and it can go hard real fast unless the opponent has some form of removal. Anthem enchantments and Terror of the Peaks is really good too. Satya is a very versatile commander.

Every time I see Narset in Jeskai colors, I'm disappointed to see master instead of exile. I really enjoy my Narset, Enlightened Exile commander deck because it lets me play cards like Thousand Year Storm and Whirlwind of Thought in the same library. So many good times.

The same! I have a Narset EE deck that's fair, then I kkep encountering THE OTHER Narset who are people who like to counter spells and then playing solitaire... boring and frustrating!

Satya is definitely a top 3 mh3 commander for me alongside Sorin and Ashling and I was surprised that up until recently he didn't seem to be getting too popular. It's such a fun deck to play and I can't seem to get enough of it. Love seeing a deck for him that's quite a bit different from mine, so even more to try out!

I believe that Mikaeus did nothing since it removed the counter as cost but than the state based action checked 0 toughness, id died and the ability fizzeld because it was not fully on the stack at that point. But further clarifaction would be cool.

satYAY! Edit: Had no idea about the bonnet thing in the profile art. I actually run mine with it and it's my headcanon that Satya is trans because of the colors hahaha. Also, interestingly I don't see Roaming Throne in your decklist?? What heresy is this? hahaha I quite like the throne naming human since not only there's incidental doubling of other humans but also doubling roaming thrones can get out of hand quite quickly.
