I used 10 officers in LP Brawlers in conjunction with Support Doctrine capitals built for fire support and having a safe zone for the officers to fall back to.

Depending what faction you are facing, Brawlers are still a good option. In this video, the DP prorata for both is 20+ time their deployment cost. Even in a 4 Ordos run, they have their place to use (I mean essential for this setup) if you are able to manage them.
