Can this beat 5 remnant ordos at once? Retreat/re-engage to reset PPT accepted. Later - video says no more than 2 enemy fleets at a time. Oh well...

I am not sure it will reset your missiles tho. If it can, then yes (you will probably need officers to reach 5 btw) The build can do up to 3 Ordos but I prefer to say 2 because people can be unlucky with their omegas.

@niklashunke4721 In vanilla, you have the cache, 2 Hypershunts and 1 bounty. That means you have 3 tries (2 based on RNG) to get your large omegas. You can "control" your bounty by saving before, accepting it and see what it uses; if it's the wrong one, then load and pass few months to try to trigger the event again.

@@badassdude44 My 0.97 Low Tech does 6 Ordos at once but since I am doing content and not Ordos farming heavy, the midline one did 4 without hardened subsystem and 2 or 3 for Missile spam and Hyperions.

Starsector is great because no matter what you want to do with it tactically you absolutely can. Missiles, lasers, ballistics, fighters or even pd only are all possible

How do I get more officers ? Is there some way to get the excat skills you want ?

@@shauryashah6785 The maximum you can use is 10, after that you need mercenaries to compensate. You can use the trick I show on the video to create your own mercenaries. For skills, right before your officer is leveling, save and try a battle. If the skill pool isnt good, reload, redo your battle without officer, search another battle, save and try again. Each different fight can change the skill pool. That's the way if you dont use console command.

The sindrian diktat expansion mod adds a gryphon varient with 2 large missle slots and inbuilt expanded missle racks along with a new large missle Trebuchet Just 6 of those can defeat tessaract fleet Look into it they have limited ammom but super op in practice

@@peterhorvath4133 You need to blow your ship / recover or you install dmod services (utility mod). Few dmods are bad for Gryphons but most of them are totally fine.

Hello, Only beam fleet can achieve really great things but for beam missile only, you need a lot of Pegasus or ships with fast missile rack. I am not a fan of the 2nd option since you lack missile for multiple fleets at once. Compare to Gryphon spam, Pegasus gameplay is completly different with AI.
