Jackals always seem to have a tough time fighting in this game haha, still trying to find what their real strengths are. Great report!

Loved the battle report! Amazing quality work! Got yourself a new subscriber! I did feel like there was something missing during the game and then it hit me. It would be nice if there was some quiet background music going on while you were playing. Can't wait for the next one.

Love how much faster and brutal this is than warhammer.... Its common for most units to be dead after the end of a combat.

Yea, The gameplay is pretty smooth! Needs some balance tweeks but overall they have a solid foundation to build on

@@hauntswargaming There's a separate competitive ruleset if you're not aware, the base ruleset is strictly for casual

@@alphawolf2993 I more or less meant unit points cost and impact in particular can be so op. I think it would make sense to say impact only works if the units are more than 6" away from each other. The army building limitations are good and building it into the app is really nice.

Nice! The spectacle/imagination/narrative is what makes wargaming fun to me and you nailed that. Thanks for the rules and meme edits too haha. A wide angle shot of the whole table would be sweet too. Maybe it would be too hard to see the minis though. Looking forward to more.

Wow... I didn't see that end result coming. But any game with Jackals and Hives is sure to be riveting. I certainly hope you keep the narration going and perhaps eventually escalate to a full blown 2k or 3k (per side) war... The toys you guys can unlock at those levels can be absolutely epic!

Minor critique: the title is misleading as typically the points used to describe a game refer to what each team is bringing, not the sum (so under typical conventions would be a 1000pt game). Doesn't take away from how well done all of your models and production was for this Battle Report. Please keep them coming!

Thanks for the kind words and for clearing that up! I wasn't sure if there was a standard for that or not. I feel like I've seen people use the totals before but that was probably just for really big games.

Really cool video! I love your editing here. Putting in some good lore and character narration was really fun. The report didn't drag on a lot of reports, and went right to the important bits. Both team's miniatures are really nice. Well painted for sure! If you don't mind a suggestion, take a look at Zorpazorp's Horus Heresy battles. They do some similar stuff with their story telling in their report and may give you some inspiration on some things you may be interested in adding. I'd love to see more like this. Hopefully you'll build an awesome story if you keep it up.
