Deep under the earth the leagues of Votann have dug greedily into the crust of this planet. The cacophony of heavy duty equipment siphoning the planets mineral riches has awoken the terrifying presence of the Tyranids. For thousands of years this hive fleet splinter had slumbered, but now its ravenous hunger has been unleashed.The tunnels of this dig site now writhe with the skittering masses of the great devourer. The Leagues of Votann make a valiant last stand, priming explosives to seal these horrors away.Will the Leagues make a daring escape, or will they become bio mass for the hives consumption.

Von Ryan's Leapers were a gaunt sub-species mentioned in the 3rd edition codex. They weren't in the game at that point but were in the lore as a vicious predator that maybe got separated from their Hive Fleet and evolved by themselves. The name is probably a reference to Von Ryan's Expess, an old war movie.

Berserks can not charge after the Sagitaur moved. ALthough they could have disembarked and have a longer charge either way. Awesome batrep btw

I think there was only one turn where a Termagant unit was partially wounded so I don't think it would have made too much of a difference, as the Tervigon can only regenerate models to one existing squad 🙂

Yes, but as this is narrative it's not really relevant to this game as it's a narrative 😅 I just took every LoV model we had in the studio, and James took the Tyranid models he thought looked cool, we didn't really count points
