You're lucky your teammate in the CA knew how to shoot straight... I've can't say how many matches there were this season where a red SinOP would get down to 5k health and then just never die and thus win the match.

Collingwood is my rankout for tier 7. It has the best guns in its tier legitimately by a mile and the reload booster pretty much gives you 50k damage per use.

If concealment isn't worth it...this mean that we could get a good Henrich secondary build with a 10 point commander (I don't want to move my schlieffen commander and scharnhorst's guns really lack punch and secondary aren't as accurate)

Indeed. Content creators often overlook that we dont have to luxury to afford a 19-21 commander on every single ship. I for example played to bronze 1 with a 10 pts commander on my Vauquelin. Just the basic suvivability skills and concealment so im able to rush DDs and stealth torp more effectively. And in my experience i was able to always level up a fresh 6 pts commander to 10 pts with elite xp. Those 10 pts are such a huge treshold on most ships and its not too exensive.

Concealment is a secondary skill (or even lower) for a majority of BB's at this point in the game's life compared to the other survival skills like Fire Prevention or secondaries / offense. I've also found outside of CL's that REALLY want IFHE, 10 points gets you 70-80% of the way there when it comes to your captain's power.

This ship is my dedicated ranked ship for tier 7, very strong. This and the Sinop.

Im usually a BB and Cruiser main. But in T7 ranked i find Vauquelin to be my favourite pick. Absolutely annihilates DDs, outpaces evething and is still able to stealth torp. Its mostly because the german battlecruiser line was a huge let down for me below Rupprecht. Cant really enjoy Heinrich. And meta Sinop playstyle is just lame and boring.

This ship should be a premium. It has secondaries AND hydro. Something tirpitz and scharnhorst do not. It has long range torps, and the rear turret spins forward facing. Its wonderful to play.

Hell, its squishy. I killed it in 1on 1 blitz battles in Sinop, Never went below 30% hp. 20k salvos are brutal.

By that logic, the entire German BB tech tree should be premium. Or, at least the whole battlecruiser side.

Note: If you reach bronze 1, stop there. Silver and gold are infested with the griefer classes.
