Piece of nonsense that log !! What the hell were the course people thinking of? Two minutes and someone with an electric saw could have removed those barbs... t could have ripped the horses guts out ! Or a rider. !

Loved it! Now it's decided...I am definitely going to have to try it! Of course, it will probably help my attitude (while trying to keep up my courage during the hunt) if I have my ipod playing some fun tunes like you used. u are all soooo lucky to be able to do that!! here horse riding is a pastime that is going by the wayside im very sad to say and id love to be able to do hunt runs with my family =)

95% of these riders have not got an independent seat. If their horses weren't so honest and looked after the human jelly on their backs this lot could be ditched with a simple snatch down on the reins.

in nour hunt we havent got many water stuff mainly headges but i would fear all the water going in the horses ears but it looks cool

I love how the guy who fell basically got out and his horse followed without fault. If it were me I'd probably have to take another swim to go get her! All in good fun! :D

Sorry but i beg to differ - You usually get shouted at saying 'get away' as these are (usually) 1/2-1 ton of flesh i doubt your going to be like 'here little horsey dont worry im going to get you out while your panicking' ;) better to let them get out on there own and then if you still recovering from taking the plunge then others will catch it :)

its safer for the horse and rider to let the horse get out than be caught. Instead of dealing with a horse thats trying to accomplish his mission of getting up the bank. Most horses perfer to get out of the water before being caught. imagine leading a horse up a bank without him jumping on u or clipping u :)

In Ireland this is not a sport for the rich. Its a family past time and the irish horse is bred for hunting since a hundred years. They are not treated as disposable items. It is though alright for horse and rider but most jumps are reasonable and safe!

i fox hunt. i treat my horse like a prince. he gets everything he needs and more. This is a family sport. I suggest you actually foxhunt before you say something so untrue. Foxhunting is the basis for jumping. without foxhunting we wouldnt have jumping. These horse usually do not get hurt. You should really learn that a good foxhunting horse is hard to come by and they are never disposable. I suggest you answer me to convince me you are not some coward.
