the one thing that frustrated me about Braylon was that he would catch passes he shouldn't have caught, but drop the passes he should've caught! Loved him, but definitely frustrated me.

Never will forget the MSU comeback when Henne found him for 3 TDs in about 3 mins. What he had, beyond speed and pretty good hands, was his DESIRE for the ball ...if you went up against him, you were taking HIS football. He didn't like that...

When we went down 17 or whatever it was, my dad said “I guess we are going to the Outback Bowl.” I told him we need to throw the ball deep to Braylon and hope for the best. One of my favorite football memories.

I forgot how decent Navarre was. Edwards is my all-time favorite WR a Michigan. Dude was unstoppable! That game against State was insane. They play that game a lot on Classic and Big Ten Rewind. Devastating his NFL career didn’t pan out. He would’ve had a way better career if he didn’t get drafted by the Browns, in my opinion. He had that breakout Pro Bowl season in ‘07 and didn’t really do much after that. Then getting shipped to San Fran for a year didn’t do him any good either. And two tours playing for the Jets he didn’t produce much. He’s definitely one of the most overlooked receivers in college football history.

@8301TheJMan Жыл бұрын
@@austinburrow2843 Yes, i'd take him over those guys as well. The guy put up numbers as good or almost as good as those guys you mentioned, while also being on a team that threw quite a bit to future pros like Breaston and Avant, along with Massaquoi at TE, Perry who had 40-somethin catches outa the backfield, or then Mike Hart during Braylon's final year. Add to that the fact that Carr's offense was pretty damn conservative and run-heavy, (nothin nearly as idiotically conservative and predictable as Harbaugh's has been, but still pretty damn bad). Moss, never would go across the middle in the pros and didn't do it a whole lot at Marshall either! Overall while at Michigan, i honestly can't say Jones nor Megatron were any better than Braylon was!

I know a lot of fans focus on the negative aspects (drops) but clearly one of the best offensive weapons to ever step foot on campus. His combination of size, speed and body control made him an elite WR in college football. One of my favorite players to watch at Michigan.
@8301TheJMan Жыл бұрын
He actually only really had a problem with the drops his first couple yrs at Michigan, his hands during his Jr and Sr seasons were some of the best ive ever seen. Sadly he started having drops again in his fourth yr in Cleveland, which got progressively worse and worse as his career went on. It sucks that he's largely known for his drops rather than the unstoppable threat that he was at Michigan and his first few years with the Browns.
