However, this is literally one of the most dangerous places in Bogota, and almost every local I asked told me to avoid Santa Fe at all costs. definitely, those were pimps, one runs the hair shop while the other drugs and hookers, see where they were going? One of their hookers almost got caught, since they are the pimps they showed up to see whats up. Timmy's girl noted that, noticed that it was actually getting dangerous while the guy kept coming to the restaurant insisting he would go with him to those streets, he was definitely trying first, to separate them and pimp tims girl, then when they realized she wouldn't be an easy target as she stated multiple times she's a strong woman, she probably understood what they were doing, and kinda separated herself from timmy himself seeing that he was actually valuing the content more than their safety, so this is why I think there is no many scenes in the restaurant while they were there, prob the guys kept coming back, she felt even more uncomfortable and told timmy about it. Timmy just continued for content.

I lived in Bogota for 7 years and had a friend who was robbed and killed in that area, during the day, in 2005. You obviously know the risks, but it doesnt seem you care, or perhaps you want to be robbed for views, either way a bit unfair for your family and friends. Love you man. You were out of your depth here. You had no reason to feel calm since you move on good will following your heart, which I believe in, but it is something you're supposed to do alone, because otherwise your faith based confidence could mislead others. Good will goes a long way but the world is full of real dangers, especially where people are starving, renting their bodies to drunks, desperation beyond comprehension. Doesn't matter if they're being cool, you can not leave a lamb with starving wolves. They all work together out there, seperating people makes them weaker. Your friend likely knew that due to growing up in such places so took for granted that you'd never leave her alone as she would think that's obvious. Maybe not so much to a foreigner, but Timmy you have been in this world long enough to know better. People do have bad days there, your good heart only protects so much, and if it doesn't then that's the risk you should take alone. Only with people like Bald where theres no doubt they're aware of the risk/already do it. You're young and she's even younger, she might be from a tough place but she could have been very protected there if she has a good family and many girls with her level of education do have that, even if they grew up in a tough neighbourhood. This is life man you're learning and sharing as you go, it amplifies your mistakes out to the world and so you hear back. You are not bad for this, it is clear you didn't really know what to do, and everything is okay, thankful to God and your good heart. It's amazing to me how brave you are, not for being there, but for sharing this lesson with all of us so others learn from this too. People usually learn this stuff personally, not broadcast to the world, that's really brave, because I'm sure you had your doubts when watching this, but chose to upload anyway. Please be mindful of the danger you could lead others into with your confidence for an adventure, I do not think you could bare it if you lead someone into a situation that went bad. It's tricky balancing who to adventure with, because people will try to be braver than they are, especially when inspired by others. Even harder for you because of the amount of people watching.
