Hi I’m Brazilian and I loved the video but just to clarify, the carnival is not a Christian festival. The Brasilian carnival embraces the mix of cultures in the country, mostly about the African and indigenous culture. Our carnival, we celebrate the African and Indigenous descendent that many of us lost with the colonisation. Most ppl go just for the party but the meaning is to bring back our ancestry. Many of the ‘ escola de samba’ bring histories about the Yoruba culture brought from Africa many still practice in Bahia and many other brasilian states.

Hello, as a Brazilian I can say that people here love fitness and well-being due to the warm climate all year round. Due to the heat, it is normal to wear shorter clothes that show off your body, so as everyone wants to look more beautiful, the way to do it is to always try to stay in shape. In a cold country you can do this by wearing nice clothes, but in a very hot country no one can bear to wear a lot of clothes.

Im so excited to research more of the Brazilian smile technique!! One thing I learned from this book “Brazilian Sexy” by the Janea Padilha & the J Sisters is that when youre at the beach, wet your skin in the beach water and then use the sand as an exfoliator and then rinse off in the ocean. I do this everytime I go to the beach now! My skin is always super soft and smooth afterwards! I also bring coconut oil with vanilla essential oil to moisturize afterwards!✨ Also, random story! Yall! Learn how to do a basic samba! It’s fun! My twin and I learned from a teacher in middle school and we would samba at home all the time. It wasnt until we were invited to a random party in upstate NY, that we danced in public! The hosts were Brazilian and yallll we were the only 4 on the dance floor! The music was a different type of beat than the latin music everyone was used to so ppl sat down. The hosts swore we were Brazilian!😂 This reminds me to add more Brazilian Funk to my playlist! 💕 And lastly! My grandpa traveled extensively and so I asked him where were the most beautiful women, he said hands down, Brazil! The reason? Their confidence. They all look so different, but each and every one of them have a type of unbreakable confidence and thats what makes them beautiful 🤩!

Hi, I’m Dominican and I live right next to a mainly Brazilian and Portuguese town. My son, studies in a Brazilian private school and I have Brazilian friends. With that being said, It’s incredible how much diversity they have. So much that I confused many of them thinking they were Dominican. My son’s school friend mom invited us to his birthday party, and I was super confused with the people there, trying to figure out who was Brazilian and who was Dominican. Super happy people, friendly, and very clean and organized(the town is always spotless)

19:30 in brazil açaí is more consumed in the northern part of the country bc it's part of their cuisine, they eat the açaí and the food together. but like in são paulo and rio de janeiro we typically eat it as a dessert. bc unfortunately in these regions açaí is more industrialized and with way more sugar added.

I am Brazilian and I was very happy to see our culture being honored, but I must say that Brazil is a mix-each state in the country has a different type of beauty. We have the women from Bahia who resemble African women, we have the women from the South who look a lot like Scandinavians, we have the women from Goiás, São Paulo, and Minas Gerais who are a blend, and the women from the Northeast, who are like separate countries within Brazil. Our beauty secrets include bathing many times a day, a habit we inherited from the indigenous people, and taking care of ourselves mainly at home. We know how to do our own nails, eyebrows, we do skincare with native plants, cut our own hair, and get tanned on the rooftop!

The history and culture of Brasil is incomparable. They hold one of the largest Japanese communities outside Japan (alô liberdade-sp), and almost 50% of Brazilians can trace their ancestors back to Africa. The Portuguese language in Brazil is heavily influenced by the diasporas that inhabit it. Carnaval is one of the most amazing processions you’ll see on earth. The food is amazing, meu deus, don’t get me started 😂 O Brasil tem meu coração sempre ❤

Ah, se quer um cabelo bonito precisa fazer o Hair care todo dia, não quando convém, o mesmo vale para o Skincare. @@marcopolo1765 I have a question. Why does he have so many female friends but he doesn’t like me around any boys. Not that I even want to be around any man but him. He doesn’t hang out with the girls too much but he messages them a lot. I don’t know if Brazilian men are just like that?
@marcopolo17652 ай бұрын
@@ItzParisHeaven Good question, the answer is a bit complex, but I'll be 100% honest with you. Although not all Brazilian men are like this, it is very common to find some who are very possessive, jealous and controlling. I would say that being "a little" jealous is common in Brazil, but understand, I'm saying "a little"! If this jealousy and possessiveness is exaggerated, you have to be careful because you may be in a toxic relationship. And in Brazil, most people also consider it disrespectful when a boyfriend keeps sending messages to several other girls, especially if he does it secretly. Many relationships end for this reason. I don't know what country you're from, but in my personal experience, after living in Europe for some time and meeting several people of different nationalities, I realize that Europeans in general have a bit of difficulty talking about their feelings with their partner, talking about their expectations, desires, about the things they like and dislike in the relationship. In Brazil, the big secret for relationships to work well is to have open, honest and direct communication. Talking openly about how you're feeling. For example, you can tell him that you want to talk to him about your relationship, in order to improve it and make it better. Something like: "Hey, I like being with you, but some of your attitudes make me feel bad and uncomfortable. Maybe you haven't realized that these attitudes bother me, that's why I'm telling you now. I want our relationship to get better and better every day, so I want to ask you to take my feelings into consideration and please stop with these attitudes!". Another piece of advice I can give you is to set limits on his jealous and possessive behavior. As I said before, if it's just a little jealousy, it's a sign that he likes you and doesn't want to lose you. However, if it's exaggerated, then he's a toxic and controlling guy who can cause you problems in the future. Try to observe carefully which of these two types he fits into.

@SakuraBlossoms446 ай бұрын
Hi, with much respect and curiosity i would like to know your opinion as a Swiss girl on your approach to personal care and beauty. I spent years there, due to uni and work and saw a very , very bland approach. No sense of fashion, hair care, nail care, skin care at all, girls that seemed to put on the first thing they found on and head straight to Uni, actually i saw those sub-genres like emo, punk or kinda hippie style, not something that i could actually grasp as being the Swiss self care culture. I was often kind of mocked for being "into my looks" , but that is intrinsic to me just like breathing is and also because of my origins. Maybe you are not 100% Swiss? because a good level of self care and tradition i only noticed it in Swiss girls that have foreign origins.
@mikigiusti12396 ай бұрын
@SakuraBlossoms44 Hi! Im 100% Swiss. Especially in my heart. I think Swiss people like a natural and real look. Swiss German tends to be blonde and blue eyes, while the French and Italian Swiss tend to be more brunette. The fresh air of the mountains helps to maintain good quality skin :-)
@SakuraBlossoms446 ай бұрын
@@mikigiusti1239 I know it, been in the different parts of Switzerland. I have fond memories of the country. I hate the done up look that many women are embracing nowadays, i am inclined to self care that is not for the pure sake of vanity but most for a general, good mental, physical health for life. Probably the people up in the mountains are better kept than others, the people in the city are wrecked badly, for what i saw for not having proper care and smoking like there's not tomorrow.
