You are so calm around all of your pets. I admire that you're so calm and loving towards reptiles, arachnids, marsupials, and insects. Are you ever scared of them biting you? I am sure you get bit quite a bit, but does it scare you at all? I wish I had the money and time to own as many pets as you do. It's wonderful and beautiful to see someone who loves animals as much as you do. :)

It's funny, I'm afraid of small spiders but I don't have a problem with tarantulas and other big ones :D they are like nice furry pets :) I really want to have one in the future

I don't know if that was a bird or what in the background, but if spiders made that noise I'd be done with life lol. I've actually started to learn to overcome my Arachnophobia. When I go to a pet store I want to try handling a spider to see if I'm really over it or not yet. (It used to be so bad I was even scared of spiders in video games lol)

How did you get over your fear of spiders can you give me some tips please, I really want one I think their so beautiful and cool especially this one! I'm okay with sitting and looking at spiders and I've even held one before at a camping show because the man handed it to me, but I can't pick one up myself and when they run real fast I get scared also I'm really scared it will bite me o.o but once it's I'm my hand I was fine?

+SnazzyNikki Brazilian Blacks are like black labs, very docile and gentle. The only thing that scares me about them while handling my juvenile female is the size of her fangs backed up with massive chelicerae looked very intimidating! I think this species got the largest fangs relative to body size, more like the saber-tooths or the mouse spiders the tarantula world. But otherwise, i still handle her in every transfer or maintenance :D

I much prefer female tarantulas as well, longevity and vibrancy make them a no brainer. Regarding the bald patch, it could be either of the things you suggested. Probably preparing for a molt if it hasn't encountered anything that would cause it anxiety. Either way, it will go away after the molt as I'm sure you've already noticed.

I really don't like normal spiders cause they're so small and hard to see, but tarantulas are okay. I held one when I was younger, remember thinking their feet feel like those little ear-cleaner cotton buds :3

Chileans are actually very sweet! Mine doesn't kick hairs unless my little brother tries to mess with him while he's eating >.< As long as you continue to handle them, they're very accepting of physical contact.

This is normal, most people afraid those thiny or big with skinny legs. People most likely overcome it by buying Theraposidae (Tarantula) since its the biggest spider family.
