What you don't understand is the following: the Brazilian audience is built based on the journey of the teams and players, not on performance. By cutting 40% of CBLOL, Riot is risking losing 40% of the Brazilian audience. The Academy, in this last week, had over 50k viewers. We have the habit of following players from the beginning until they reach CBLOL. I agree that the scene needs to find financial sustainability, but cutting CBLOL in half is not the right way. The probability now is that the LCS audience will not increase, and the CBLOL audience will decrease. Regarding the development of the region, let's be honest, it won't happen. What will happen is that the LCS will want to import the best players, and we will remain mediocre, but now without an audience.

Bro, we understand. Brazilians have been saying it non-stop. We understand why you are upset. No one is blaming you for being upset. The point remains that it's not all downsides and that the toxicity has been so out of line. Brazilians have excused it by saying it's "memes" and "passion", but in reality it is just very poor behavior. I am not putting this all on you; you are just one person and probably haven't said or done anything out of line, but the overall behavior of certain segments of Brazilians on social media has been distasteful to say the least.

If you want to understand the Brazilian community, know that for the community, the journey captivates the audience much more than the final result. It's about the trajectories of the players and the organizations, not the results. Different cultures with different ways of appreciating the same championship.

​@@DavidSzajnuk ​ Yes, but this is Twitter. The community there has always been toxic, and they don't represent the majority of the Brazilian audience, who are more divided between Twitch and KZbin. Of all social networks, Twitter is the least accessed here but the most toxic. Perhaps the easiest way to reach a larger audience of fans on Twitch/KZbin would be through collaborations between Brazilian and NA influencers. Twitter will never change; it will always be a cesspool of toxicity.

@@silverstreaked1072 Yes, I understand this point and agree with you. It is the cesspool of LoL, and this type of behavior is not exclusive to Brazilians. Toxicity on Twitter exists in all leagues. Of course, Brazil is in the spotlight now because of the Riot/CBLOL situation
