Fun fact: the Wandering Spider is also called "Aranha Armadeira" in Brazil. It translates as "Arming Spider", because when facing big targets (yes, targets. She's THIS level of aggressive) like humans, she "arms" itself raising her frontal legs and showing how big her fangs are. And if the target still didn't felt intimidated, she will literally do a "BANZAI CHARGE" and attack, jumping in suicidal rage against the target (probably screaming "Blood for the Blood God" too) People in brazil also make jokes about her name, saying that she is "armed to the teeth" and lame puns... But some say that being bitten by one of that little berserkers feels like getting shot by a rifle.

Pretty sure that spider the Mantis killed in the demonstration had venom strong enough to kill it at least. Venom means nothing if you're pinned in a position where your fangs can't reach your target's flesh/ exoskeleton. If the Mantis managed to wrangle this spider into a position where it couldn't bite them, it'd be all over for the spider once it took a couple strong enough bites.

Limey Lassen Don't underestimate the mantis bro. They can take down mice with a well calculated strike. Used to be a bunch around where I used to work. One of them was HUGE too, like the size of an average man's hand. Just slimmer.
