Welcome to the club.....glad you had a great time and enjoyed the course of fire. I also shot Limited Optics in this match and yeah, it was a very different challenge than most indoor matches and other clubs with smaller bays. The longer shots are a cool part of this club b/c the bays are all big enough to stretch out a couple shots per stage and build some bigger field courses. Shooting 4 bigger stages with a decent bit of side to side or forward / backward movement definitely makes it fun, in my opinion. I have shot these club matches with everything from PCC, CO, LO, Limited, Production, and even Single Stack, which is a whole different beast with a 36 round stage and 20 yards of movement :), but always enjoyed the size of the match. Hope to see you again out there soon and will try to squad with you if you want to brainstorm some more on stage plans. That stage 3 was a monster, and even being the person to set it up, I still had to go over my plan like 3 or 4 times to make it efficient.

Oh man I’ll have to take you up on that offer, my stage planning needs ALOT of work still! I do like the more openness to really let loose and get moving. Yeah no way I’d try SS in a 34-40 round stage LOL that’s like 5 mags!

What was your round count? It looked like really long shots. How many mags on your belt was used? I’m going to my first USPSA this Saturday.

The end of the day was close to 150 rounds...yeah alot of the targets were further than any other match ive been to but i did have a guy let me know before hand that it's setup more to the rifle/PCC folk since the MD shoots PCC... so a little bit of a bummer BUT gives me something more to work on.I have 3 mag pouches and i start with 1 in my pocket..never had to do more than 1 reload since i have 21-23 round mags. Oh nice on your 1st! i only have about 15 under my belt since i started in January.
