Beachers Squads are by far the most effective in bunkers systems and the boarding of space ships, and they were extremely effective against many enemies of mankind, but sadly they also prove to be just as dangerous during the Horus Heresy were these squads are just as effective against their former comrades.

I wish there were more focused HH novels/short stories about Breacher squads. I love the idea of those marines just being hardened veterans accustomed to some of the most violent fighting that Astartes can perform. My favorite units to paint as well lol

Love these amazing stories of the Astartes Legion formations. So cool and gives great perspective to those not familiar with the Lore. The Chapters of the 40K universe are a shallow shell of the Legions of old which is telling as the Astartes are crazy powerful even in 40K let alone to our current level.

In 30k Ultramarines can take a breacher squad where they all swap their bolt guns for power swords. Was a straight upgrade of a normal unit in 1.0 iirc it’s an special unit in 2

Can’t wait for a space wolves heresy video for one of these squads. Like a mirrored version of the above friendship. A space wolf, salamander, and imperial fist would be cool maybe, offense, balance, defense. Wolf and fist having hot and cold anger. On the note of possible future primaris upgrades of old units like the primaris breacher, I think a version of the inceptor with melee weapons and a version of the infiltrator armed with flamers would both be really cool. Also still waiting for a primaris terminator. Maybe that could be the unit to replace breathers.
