After experiencing a rare slam fire using federal; I’ll never chamber like that again unless the barrel is pointed at the target. Scary , bcg on ARs put little primer strikes every time you chamber a round.
@theoverseer4583 жыл бұрын
I’ve never seen that happen besides with shoddily reloaded rounds, and even then I’ve only seen it once
@luckeypolishing3 жыл бұрын
@@theoverseer458 well then... I feel like I won the unlucky lotto. None the less, it happens and I’d hate to see someone test cycling at home kill a neighbor or loved one. Atleast for me, I will never chamber without pointing at the target ever again.

I have never thought about it or heard of it until now but I definitely will be more mindful of from now on. Thank you

As a young guy who just got their 3rd ar, very good to know. I will try it next time , and I want to see if my DD puts a dent on the primer. Regardless I will never EVER flag anything I care about , let alone test weapon chambering indoors.

Is it a blow back bolt? I have always been told you can't do under 7in on a gas gun? Probably talking BS! Nice build who ever brian is your getting something badass and unique!
@channelchannelchannelchannel3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure exactly what your mean but if you're saying the operating system is blowback, I would have to say its probably gas impingement (in my opinion)

Lethality. 10.5 inch. Anything less and it won’t hit the 2500fps needed for making the bullet explode when it hits you

why 5.56 with 5 inch barrel? if i've only got a 5 inch barrel, gimme a bigger caliber bullet. gimme a PCC. at least 9mm, 10mm, 45acp.
@gleamtarrest6310Ай бұрын
Hey Mr. Withay don't ever do that again!
@cedrickmcdonald50383 жыл бұрын
I couldn't never waste money on a short barrel rifle that shoots 556, because with the barrel being short the bullet have slow velocity and you will not get the ballistic performance like you would from a 16inch or 20inch barrel. To me they are to expensive and a waste of money, but to each it's own, alot people like them, but me personally I just don't think they worth the money. You go spend all this money on a short barrel ar15 thats 7inches and you can get a regular 16inch ar15 that's cheaper and have a whole lot better ballistic performance.
@raveloma3 жыл бұрын
This is a waste of parts and money. It’s worthless as a home defense weapon, will get you kicked out of most indoor ranges, is worthless at anything over 100 yards, and won’t function well enough to be used for duty purposes. If anybody wants a super shorty, run it as a 9mm pcc. Def don’t 5.56.
