Fire support against the Tyrant is basically a non factor, and not worth giving up an early Elite for. Elites potentially are worth 200+ credits in value. High Solari rep specifically also greatly reduces the reward you get from one of the best sector 2 events as you cannot support the colonists.

Something to be mindful of is that equipping systems adds cards to your deck without increasing your card draw. This is bad if your deck has a centerpiece card that you want to find and play ASAP (Prep Volley in this case.) Too many resource cards can also result in turns where you draw no cards that have an immediate impact (they don't block or break enemy equipment). This can cause you to take extra damage from bad RNG.

Avalanche is available in the space pioneers beta testing branch. Access to it is granted via the Breachway Discord, in Channels & Roles answer yes "Would you like to try experimental test builds to help the team out." This will grant you the space pioneer role, and you can join the space-pioneer channel. Instructions on how to access the space pioneer beta are pinned in that channel.

Sadly Sector 3 doesn't exist yet, it's on the roadmap, but not next in priority. I believe the next release from the dev team will primarily be loadout customization when starting a run, Flak / Ignite rework, and some other goodies like end of run stats screen.
