I love to see things repurposed to fit ones needs and save money too. You bread box idea is great! My fly tying box is a double door wooden box from a 1938 A.C Gilbert Microscope kit. I use various old tin boxes to organize things. It works great and forces me to limit my fly tying materials.

I like it. Just getting into tying, and looking for ideas. I like how you re-purposed the bread box. I would have left the finish alone, but that's my personal taste.

I take this box with me on the road. I love the fact that I can just shut the lid and go with my vise, tools, and hooks inside. I keep my materials in a separate box. I also bought a small lamp that will sit on top..... works great. Hope you make one of these and enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. Thanks for the comment. Please share my video with your friends!

Glad you like it! It's really handy to have when going on fishing trips. Great for tying in the cabin or camper
