That song came out in 1971 and I was a junior in high school. I vividly remember slow dancing to this song with a girl who was my classmate and first real crush. Well, life got in the way and we went off in different directions after graduation to find out what the world had in store for both of us. We lost touch somewhere along the way and I heard thru mutual friends a few years ago that she had died of cancer. I cried then like I’m crying now. Only difference is that this time I’m smiling as well as I remember that night long ago when this song played and everything was perfect. Thanks for keeping the tunes going. Take care.

Bread released this song in 1971. I don't know when I first "heard" the song, it spoke to me. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song.

70's music, what else is there to say, being born in 1960 I got to be spoiled with all this great music that will last forever... BREAD, the voice and the writing brings me chills every time, especially being my first high school love's (Carole) favorite band... I like the song ''Aubrey'' from Bread, the violin in the song mixed with his voice is like bread and butter...

This song reminds me so much of my dad. He used to play the record it all time and dance with me. It took years after he died before I could listen to this song and not fall apart, now I still get teary-eyed but I remember our dances in the living room and I smile.

The shortest song ever, with actual meaningful lyrics. He must have to need a 2min 40-sec song to complete the album.

I'd love you to do Peter Gabriels Solsbury Hill. Every time I hear it, I get a tear in the eye. " Son he said, grab your things, I've come to take you home"....I spent my childhood waiting for someone to say those words to me. They never did.

I've always loved this very special song since it came out when I was a kid, about 8 or 9 years old. This song formed me in many ways, deeply. It's a part of my very being. Jamel, you might also like some Dan Fogelberg if you haven't already reacted to him. Thank you for so much happiness from your great videos!
