As a child this is how my mom made it. So do I. But I change up the recipe sometime. By adding a can of fruit cocktails in batter. Or adding some Baker's Angel Coconut Flakes and raisins in batter and sprinkle some coconut on top of batter, then bake. Delicious! Family loves it!

What is the difference between steaming and baking the pudding as far as texture and creaminess? The pudding looks dense. Will steaming yield a different result. Hope you see this comment and reply. Thank you.

No difference in texture and creaminess with baking or steaming. The pudding is very soft and creamy like leche flan. Please do try it.
