Thanks for sharing, Craig. I don't miss the days of backing into a spot in a truckstop on a rainy night when everyone's tired and wanting to shut down for the night. Fun, fun!

That's for sure Mike. Thanks!

Love the vid, Graig. Although the procedure is the same, you should have show it with rigs attached to the other trailers. Another special problem is when the truck left of you spot sticks out further. In that case, look for another spot.

I use this method every time, or I like to think I do. Sometime I find myself in the “special problems” category though and I don’t know how I got there. Can you do a video showing us how or where we possibly went wrong that led to the special problem?
@CraigRyan5 жыл бұрын
Raul, I think problems develop whenever you pull forward turning right. It takes the angle out of your tractor trailer and you can't pivot the trailer that way. Just always pull forward straight or left. Thanks!

Hey Craig, were you in the old Castleton Target parking lot on Thursday morning? I saw a Schneider truck and what I thought might be new drivers and possibly a trainer.
@CraigRyan5 жыл бұрын
Yes! I like to run up in that area. We were having photo-op time and a driver change.

Cool afterwards info Craig. Thanks on all. I think we need some maverick blooper videos too at some point.

There you go! I don't think I've saved a lot of that old footage though.

why do u always keep the angle
@CraigRyan5 жыл бұрын
Jim, it's the only way to control pivoting the trailer into the hole. If you're straight you can't turn the trailer.

Great video sir! I have a request... a video on how to drive in SNOW... a lot of your viewers, including me, can benefit from it. Thank you again and have a blessed day!
