@@ahhwe-any7434 Hi there. I don't think that personality traits is what Ryan is referring to. If your personality traits are quiet/shy/reserved, then a woman will care for you for who you are. I think Ryan is referring to a man who doesn't make the woman a priority in his life. If she is doing all the giving and accommodating, then the relationship is unbalanced. She will need to evaluate if he truly loves her in action and is respectful of her commitment to the relationship.

Men believe women need them financially (of course we need partners, since we are paid 70 cents on the dollar for the same work- hard to thrive on a single stagnant income these days). Also, inherently, most women prefer companionship and value relationships- in our DNA. Men know this and exploit it.

@@ltdodgen tell us about it. I know men have been catfished and so have I but the things in this video he was talking about men doing these things. I don't know what women do. But its a crap shoot. Many people don't know who they are and they do this stupid stuff and they stay single for a reason. I try not to ghost and give a reason why I am exiting but it doesn't always go well. Ghosting is sometimes more healthy and define intervention. I did have a guy say to me are you real send me pictures, that their are just sex adds on their side. Well maybe the numbers of women on-line have declined because of their bad behavior because women are afraid of those sites and they have little ing the companies to pull from. Like I heard that like bumble has 10k men to 2k females using the site. I had a guy ask me if I was real because he said their are all these adds of girls that are hookers. one the looking at my side at men their are a lot of out of shape, unshaved men holding a dead fish or deer back woods look and to me yuck not my type.The good looking men are all sex addicts and cheaters. you get the couples looking for a third and the kinky people, and women just say hi and don't write back. and I tried it for 4 years and that's all you get over and over. I had to sadly write in my profile I like a guy that is well groomed, cologne and shaves. The lady on these comments who said she saw the same thing, she is write I see that too. With women there is a wide gamut of looks, size, and interests. women put far more time in their profiles. Their are the rear exceptions and those catch your eye. Sites are focused on shallow stuff, rear is the key word.

@lindaamerica45874 жыл бұрын
@Stacy Caruso absolutely not true. When I got back on the market so to speak, at 40 after my divorce, there was plenty of interest. And immature men. But I kept meeting men and after age 51 I met the love of the rest of my life. Being young in your 20 ' s and 30 ' s is a DISADVANTAGE because of naivete. Because they are at child bearing years, they need to be EXTRA careful and intuitive to not fall for a loser, liar or cheater. I pray for the fatherless young ladies out there.

This is the tough love that a lot of us need. Basically to sum up this video: Respect yourself and stop putting up with BS. That is good advice regardless of gender. I came across a few creepy channels hosted by men basically teaching other men how to manipulate women into sleeping with them and how to be an emotional manipulator to get what they want from women in longer term relationships. Lots of misogyny flying around and clearly from men who don't really respect women. It just made me sick to watch. Super creepy and gross. These men and their followers prey on women who are insecure and will allow themselves to be treated like dirt. But it won't work if you have self-respect and are aware of the games they're playing. THEY CAN'T DO IT IF YOU DON'T ALLOW IT.

What people don't realize is that by doing all this mean things, by being deceitful and playing games. By just taking advantage of someone. Not only do they waste the other persons life, they damage them that they loose hope that they are worthy. They loose hope in love. It's what has happened to me. The idea of the different groups would be more targeted for the age ranges so I really think that was a great idea!!!
@npkrn67644 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, however, Ryan IS young himself with therefore limited life experience (strike one for being 100% useful for older people). Also, he stated he is an attorney by education - not a licensed psychologist or has any other qualifications that may outweigh his youth and inexperience. Strike two. ***Now I'm not saying he doesn't have anything useful to say, or that he can't help younger, more inexperienced people navigate dating in that age group. But into the 30s and 40s and beyond, it would be useless. My good friend's daughter actually sent me a link to his channel wanting my "elder" opinion (I'm in my 40s) and I told her he is making good common sense points for HER age group (she's 22). But for someone older who is dating older gentlemen - who may have children - who may be divorced - caring for aging parents - or all the other potential problems that are often in middle age - he really wouldn't have a frame of reference with which to give an opinion. I like Ryan and have watched quite a few of the videos and commented my perspective having had a lot of dating experience myself - but I would never try to give my parents or grandparents advice on their situations or relationships because I don't have their life experience- they'd laugh me out of the room! Ryan is indeed insightful and has common sense, but I think he'd be wrong to try to impart advice about situations he knows nothing about.

@@npkrn6764 Hey KN! Thanks for your feedback! I just wanted to clear a few things up because a few things you said were inaccurate. First, I'm not sure how old you think I am (I'm taking this as a compliment), but I'm probably not as young as you suggest. I'm not much younger than you. I also *never* stated that I'm an attorney of any kind. Just want to be clear about that. And yes, I'm not a licensed psychologist, however, my education is in psychology. I have coached many women of wide-ranging ages for years prior to me even starting this KZbin Channel. In those coaching sessions, clients typically never asked me questions that they didn't think I had some situational awareness around. I wouldn't expect viewers of this channel or those who happen to attend a YT LIVE with me to do so either. People are looking for an outside perspective that comes with a lot of heart and a deep degree of emotional intelligence. That's hopefully what I provide on this channel. My goal is to help create micro-communities within the channel so other viewers of similar age have a chance to connect with others, as well. 🙂
@npkrn67644 жыл бұрын
@@datingcoachryanpatrick Ryan you did say you were a millennial (meaning millennial generation). I am Gen X. Also I could have SWORN you said in another video you were an attorney who left that career!! I suppose it's possible it was from some other KZbin dating advice person (my friend's daughter sent me another guy to check out) but again, I was sure it was you who said that. If I am wrong, I do apologize; however my other points stand. While I do think outside, unbiased opinion on subjects can be valid whether the advisor has personal experience or not...its best to tread lightly I've found. Especially on youtube or any other public/large scale way. Plenty of hurting and vulnerable people come to your channel and if they like you, they'll treat each pearl of advice as gospel. These people are prime targets for being led down the wrong path and carrying that advice into their personal lives...which obviously affects others... and on and on. You seem to have integrity, however unlike quite a few others on KZbin. Therefore, I hope you wouldn't give advice just to have a video!!! 😳 But there are MANY who do. Bottom line - I just wanted to put that reminder out there to people watching that they need to consider these points carefully. Even therapists with massive experience get things wrong and talk out of their ass at times! Just saying :)

Spent 4 separate weekends together, morning/evening texts of calls. But it seems I’m always the one having to ask when are we going to see each other again. He treats me good when we are together, we both enjoy each other’s company. He says he doesn’t want me to see anyone else and is interested in me. But he won’t step up and plan, once I ask when we are seeing each other again then he steps up and plans but I feel like I’m not a priority. What can I do?

If you were dating, for instance, more than six months this does seem unusual. Especially if you were exclusive. But if you've only dating between 1 and 4 months then, no, I do not think it's unusual. Many congregations have gossip mongers and things spread like wildfire.
