Stormy Morning Dumpster Dive!

Oh noooo that bamboo stick went with the scarecrow and if you don’t have a head you can put him sitting down with a little pumpkin for his head or just sitting around with his pumpkin in his head as the headless scarecrow!! I’m an granny who has done some decorating with kids!!! Have fun guys

Great finds and love seeing bones. I was shocked you threw the bamboo stick for scarecrows back in the dumpster. The stick is to stick it in the ground and also holds head on to body. I was hoping you would grab it.

I've done some checking on the legalities of dumpster diving on a federal basis, and what I found out was that once something is put in a dumpster it is no longer on private property. All dumpsters, recycle bins, garbage cans, Etc is considered public domain. And dumpster diving is not illegal.

in washington thats a little sprinkle, we go out and garden in it. lol. I love the differences in how weather is Las Vegas is like hell to me, and people there freeze at 78 degrees,.

Put those marshmallows in the fridge to harden then hit on hard surface to brake apart. Use them urself for hot chocolate or to make chocolate rice crispies... U & Alex r my favorite dumpster diving couple. I love yall & Bones is beautiful... Thanks for taking him out of the shelter. They all deserve FOREVER HOMES & I CAN TELL YALL LOVE ❤HIM SO... Enjoy watching you and Alex dive. If you’re going to pick up scrap also you should have taken the fan blades. I being a crafty person I would have taken them and made a wind type thing for my back yard to keep the owl away since I have small dogs. You can fit those scarecrows easily Kelly!

Nice haul, I love Bones. I have one cat inside, Sachara, I raised her from 2 weeks old. My grandson found her abandoned at Walmart in Palatka Fl. Three outside, Skippy, Joey and Callie. All came here on there own. I can't say no to a hungry kitty.❤❤

When you find stuff in the back and bottom of the dumpsters, jump on in and grab the stuff. Just using the grabber and rake you take the chance of missing some good stuff.

My cats love hay too! It is good for their tummies to have some fresh greens from time to time. Helps with the furballs too 😊 We grow some maze for them now. My mom used to have a Miranda! Or at least it looked very similar to yours. I loved that camera.

Make sure Bones doesn't eat the stuff from the scarecrows. I had a cat that loved things like that (including the broom which has metal inside the plastic). I had to hang the broom where he couldn't get to it, plus make sure no moss or plastic plants were around just to be sure. The metal might get stuck in the intestine.

I agree. My cat loved tinsel and plastic wrappers. You have to be very careful and teach them not to get into things. Also certain houseplants can be dangerous to cats. I miss my cat who looked exactly like bones and was 20 years old when I had to let him go due to declining health. It broke my heart but the Vet said it was time. I hope Bones has a long and healthy life❣️

Good finds. Umm the scarecrows are made with corn husks, not straw. You don't want to let Bones consume the husks. They are not poisonous, but can upset his stomach. You can google about it.

I havent tried it but another diver said she take the bath & body candles and put them in the freezer and then the wax just slides out of glass. She then will put them in a glass she has from another B&B candle.

You need to get Bones some wheatgrass! I get mine @ Meijer in the produce dept. They sell cat grass in the pet dept for about 3-4 times as much and its the same stuff.
