Early Morning Dumpster Diving - Lots to Rescue!

Hiii welcome back to the channel and happy November!! We got out to the dumpsters earlier than usual and got to see the most beautiful sunrise! What an awesome day - we found clothes, canned foods, and some cool VHS tapes that we're mostly just curious about. I hope you guys had an awesome Halloween and we’ll see you again soon!

I think they have a genuine respect for each other. I love their chemistry. I'm sorry you see something 😔 else. Have you been a longtime watcher or are you just jumping on board. I will say Kelly is the original diver, it is only been in the last year or two, maybe 3 😅 that Alex has joined her as he has always worked outside the home. He was very afraid to touch stuff at first. Now he just digs right in! Love their hearts!

Love watching you two…sending love to Mr. Bones! We live on a farm and have 9 different cats that are all spoiled rotten… four of them sleep on my bed at night, and the rest are all over the house waiting for sunrise and playing outside. Cats are such great companions.

There's many less places to donate too. Most stores like Goodwill, Savers, Thrift Town, etc. are now for profit corporations, as most of these big box churches appear to be, too. There's no more help for people, just greed. Animal Humane, is also a scam, along with Habitat for Humanity. When you live in apartments, the stuff has to go. I was surprised no thrift stores collect at them. It's an upside down world.

Hi, I have a VHS still, I keep a tiny combo tv / vhs in my bedroom and love picking up next to free VHS at thrift stores. And that is where you can usually find really cheap VHS players too...just make sure that they have tested it OR that you can return it if it does not work but usually they only give you credit back, not cash. I have picked them up for around $5 before, if you find one that both plays and records they get good $ on ebay. Ok back to watching the video...and I'm packing up sales. I sold a pair of cool spanish shoes internationally for $60..going to Britain. I watch you tube as I work, and your channel is one of my favs.

The little bowl that you found is great to put side dishes such as vegetables in at a meal. That way you can keep a portion. We have approximately 10 of them. It’s also great to keep liquidy veggies from running into everything else.

I bought Legos at the thrift store for my grandkids. Put them in a mesh bag and ran them throught the washing machine. Worked great.

Love you guys! I never knew this until recently that the dishwasher filter need to be cleaned on a regular basis. You take citric acid and you spread it all around the filter drain in the center of the bottom of the dishwasher and then you run the hottest cycle, I think there is also a way to unscrew it to knock the particles out before you do the citric acid You guys are an inspiration. Thank you for doing all the things that you do.

I love how you collect dumpster ephemera. I think it would be really cool if you did an art exhibition with all the stuff you've collected, you could even have the VHS tapes playing on loop in the background. It could make for a very interesting installation!

The black thingy from the moldy mattress dumpster was a witches cauldron for decorating or to just hang on the wall or shelf for Halloween. Just in case you wanna go back to the moldy mattress dumpster to get it. Lol.

Both my boys rooms has those crates. I stained them and screwed them to the 1x3 trim I put on their walls. They hold all the trophies, books, collectibles ect.

Back in VHS world we would buy blank VHS tapes and record movies and shows from TV. We numbered them and then listed the name of the show or movie in a journal with the corresponding number. I know of several people that did that and we still have ours lol. I’m case SHTF we will have something to watch at least 😂
