Congratulations on your new putter. You look like you should practice your putting by feeling you're putting with your chest instead of your hands. Im guessing that's why you are having trouble gauging distance. I try to use the big muscles (chest), never the small muscles (hands). Practice long putts and short putts alternately on practice green. I had to re-learn this because all greens in Australia are super fast. Anyway, just my 2-cents/
