Hey Playa in chief, I implemented the breaking 90 system into my round yesterday. Used the driver on holes that suited my eye and ended up shooting an 83! I lost focus on two holes and ended up with a double and triple. I also didn’t focus on a 4 footer and ended up getting a bogey on that hole. Shot 4 over on the front and 7 over on the back due to silly mistakes. The stress free no ego golf is an absolute game changer! Just wanted to say thank you for your amazing content!

Wonder how he does on a narrow course with trees on either side. The extreme coming from the outside will make it hard under such conditions, I guess, as the "ball will land somewhere after curving right" part won't work...

I really enjoy these videos with Didi and the Fox. I pause before the shot and try to analyze the better percentage plays and where the danger is. Making me better at playing golf even though I'm not changing my swing at all right now.
@jiggawhat674 жыл бұрын
Props to Didi--he got it together and actually shot better than the White Fox on the back nine (+2 vs. +3). I love these videos because it really shows there's only three things you need to post a good score: appropriate tee boxes, short game, and solid contact on the full swings. All the other stuff we like to distract ourselves with (shot shaping, driver distance, newer, fancier clubs and balls) are meaningless unless you're trying to win tournaments.

I love this video. Two Completely different swings; upright and flat. I see that everyone is amazed at Didi's swing and that he still shot 9 over par- me included. But, and I sincerely believe this, but he must have sound fundamentals. And by fundamentals I'm talking about a correct grip. His swing looks awkward because it is, but he plays his fade and he can probably play it even on a tight course. Great lesson for me here.👍🏌️♂️⛳😁

@collinmckinney6952 Жыл бұрын
Most playas have a practice swing that is completely different than when they are actually hitting the ball. The swings have two different purposes. The practice swing is to check alignment and get a feel for the tempo and generally to get yourself ready to take your stroke. The stroke swing, the goal is to make contact with the ball, trusting your alignment and club selection.

I'm a 22 / 23 handicap at the moment. I hit the ball a long way, but can be wayward, and my short game is not the strongest. I binged a heap of your videos and played a round of 9 today with three of my mates (they aren't really golfers). I took the casual approach - the slow down of the swing, the "IDGAF" mentality, and shot +5 for the 9 holes, after being -1 through 4 holes. Can't thank you enough for these videos - there's no way I'd be playing like that without the playa mentality.

Love your channel and as always, a really interesting video. However, I can’t help thinking that this Didi guy would transform his game by spending even the shortest amount of time with a pro to sort his swing out? I’m no expert but surely the over hit, off balance pirouette thing is extremely inefficient at the very least. I can only imagine what he might be capable of by directing all that effort and energy in a more orthodox direction. You’re a student of the game, what do you think? Thanks again for the video.
@GolfSidekick4 жыл бұрын
My thoughts: I've seen him shoot a 74 in front of me, when I shot an 80 in the same round. I don't think he needs to change a thing. His enjoyment comes from playing and having fun with his friends and playing a lot - that's the message of the channel. I am seeking to get better and with that comes a lot of frustration. If golf is a hobby for maximum fun, then it doesn't matter about the score as you're just enjoying and if you win the match you are happy, if you lose the match you are happy. I want to shoot under par becaise to me that is FUN. I am bored shooting 74-82 so I need to improve my swing. His scores range from 74-86 and he is in love with the game. i think working with a pro would take away that fun for him.

Elephant in the room. The fox has a stable, balanced swing. Didi is all over the place. if he can do that, he could learn to swing better and flush every swing. he's basically maximized where that insane swing can take him. Good for him, but if he wants get better he should work on getting at least a bit more stable and not jumping all over the place. just saying.
