Great video. From Bob Rotella’s books I also like to pick a very small target within the hole, like a particular blade of grass. Somehow makes you feel like you can’t miss, and you start putting like a Baus 😎

You are a guru now. I love your videos so much. I have improved so much and don't feel like a dumb ass just wacking balls all over the place. For course management and putting, I look nowhere else but to my baus's channel. Thank you!!!

I copied Jack Nicklaus putting since he is one of the greatest putters of all time. Feet slightly open with one foot back, right arm low, eyes directly on top of the ball, piston-like stroke straight down the ball line to the hole. I don't know why more people don't putt like Jack.

Hey Maddy, I love your channel! Did you do a show on "what's in my bag"? I'm intrigued by your apparent hollow body irons. Or are they blades? And what woods are you using?

I didn’t know Berson dshambor was either a carnival (eating other humans) or a KZbinr. I thought he was a professional golfer using KZbin to fix the poor perception the public had of him? Maybe I’m wrong

I was shooting 90-105 very inconsistently and had been like this for a almost 5 years since I started. I started the way of the playa during a tournament a month ago where I needed 88 average in three days to win I did 89 90 and 93. Didn't win but finally understood the way of the playa. Since the tournament I haven't shot above 90. Yesterday I had a game with heavy bets with people I play with every week. The best of them normally scores 75-80 and gives me a 15 stroke advantage. I watched this video looking to break 80 (previous record 87). I did 79 yesterday. I thank you not only for the golf advice but for all the life advice and general coolness that you teach us.

Great video Matty, I took your advise from an old video ref: Bob Rotella, putting out of your mind, there some great lessons in these books for all, and you adding these tips from Eric is fantastic, now!! I need to stick with the plan for a set period 6-7 months ,

Yes sir most of us find something that works but we don’t see golf as a diet. If you lose weight, you can’t go man to eating everything in sight because then the weight comes back

Good stuff matty. I don’t use a line on my ball because I set up the putt with the line and check it “no that’s too far left” I move it a poofteenth right “no it’s right now” move it half a poofteenth it’s not right. All this takes too long and my brain isn’t convinced. I don’t know how people set a line from ball to hole and it’s right. Also your line is massive. Brad faxon says one single line with a normal sharpie. The bigger the line the more alignment issues like I have. If you have any tips to line it up in less than 3 attempts I’d love to hear them

I honestly believe if playas spent 1 solid hour a week putting, working on the 1-3 footers, and working a bit on the lags, doing what this video says, they will become good putters. My handicap is currently 33, and in July of last year, I was averaging 38-39 putts. But in the fall and winter, I put a few hours of putting practice in, and my stats on the SwingU app show me as a single digit (9hcp) putter. I average right at 35.5 putts per round, and I know I can get better! I did it by using these methods and mindsets, listening to Matt and Bob R, RESPECTING every single putt, and by believing that I am a good putter. I AM a good putter!
@@GolfSidekick I’m breaking 100 this summer. Maybe this week. I’m on the way!
