I caddied for 5 years at top courses across the U.S. Caddied for several pros while working at these courses. Baddeley, Couples, Ogilvie at his home course the same year he won the open 06. I also caddied for countless players who struggle with this game. This guy is distilling all the best advice I could ever give a player into damn near each shot. Well done! I'm deeply skeptical of most "golf tip" videos but these are legitimately the best "mental game" of golf videos around. Pay attention, people.

@@230662steveI still say Baddeley was probably one of the most naturally talented golfers I've ever seen. He could have shot 8+ under each round I looped with his group and he was as casual about it as could be. Tee to green he was unreal... Just couldn't get the putts to drop. Story of his career I suppose.

I have been following you playa for about 3 weeks now and your approach to the game has been a HUGE help. I have always hit the ball well, but not smart...trying to muscle every shit. I started with your tip regarding adding 1 stroke to every hole(play par 4s as par 5s and so forth, break long approach shots into two shots) and my scores have improved EASILY by at least 5 strokes. I have gone from lower to middle 90s, to mid to upper 80s. As my mental approach to the game improves, I am sure my scores will follow. THANKS!

On the other ones, I have to commit to letting the ball start outside the hole and have confidence it will come in. Commitment, confidence, both can be faked but those 2 things are wht you need. ‘Position off the tee is key’ - for me that’s a choice of potential distance v accuracy - personally gotta sort this one out - it’s my difference between low to mid 80’s and mid to high 70’s. Sort the driver (40% accuracy off tee with too many hazard balls) and/or make correct club choice off the tee. Trouble is I can hit a good drive so decision is when to be conservative.
