► The Story Behind this Story:
Olympus asked me if I wanted to test and review the new OM-D E-M1 Mark III. With only 3 weeks left before the release of the camera, I had to come up with a project that would put me in various real-world scenarios, where I, as a professional adventure and outdoor photographer, would actually use the camera and potentially benefit of the new features it has to offer, so I could put it through its paces and test it down to the bone.
So, I decided that we needed to tell a story that would take a photographer / me to all kinds of scenarios where I usually work (and some not so usual situations of course). I figured that the cameras slogan would be a good starting point: Break Free & No Limits.
To connect all these different scenarios/subjects I wanted a story that would allow me to explore each feature and put the camera to an actual real-world test in the process.
After some brainstorming, I thought that the act of pressing the shutter button could be the moment the photographer breaks free and is instantly teleported to the next location. Initially surprised, but instantly inspired to capture the next shot.
To make this film, we travelled to Austria, Spain, France, Norway, Finland and Belgium in the space of 12 days to seek out the extremes in each place to put this camera to a solid test.

I agree, I got influenced to change to full frame Sony A7II 1.5 years ago. I never was happy with this bulky system I went smaller again but I am honest I decided to go APS-C with Fuji. The price of the Olympus is not all was as small as the camera.

THE. BEST. REVIEW! Still saving some money to buy this amazing body. I have used Olympus before owned by a friend, the E-M1 MII with a 300mm lens and it was really nice. As a wildlife photographer, wildlife biologist, and mountaineer, having a fats, versatile, lightweight and compact camera is so important. Not to mention its awesome weather-sealing and the cool features such as live ND and starry sky AF. Can't wait. You deserve my subscription. :)
