don't forget a skid plate!
@DUNEATV5 ай бұрын
@@OdysseyOffroad honestly the stock skid plate has always worked well for me. And the rear swing arm guard is super heavy duty plastic with a really nice chain guide. I thought Yamaha built it really well.
@OdysseyOffroad5 ай бұрын
@@DUNEATV the swing arm gaurd i find to be fine but if you hit a rock on the stock engine skid plate your losing an engine case it flexes all the way to the motor when pushed on by hamd and is way to thin. Then again your bike only ever runs in the sand dunes so you could run aluminum foil on yours . 🤣🤣

Case Saver, Stabilizer, some flex bars, a full exhaust with a vortex, and preferably some width extension wether that is an Extended Axle, and A Arms or spacers. Perfect little rider.

I’ll say I do not miss having a stock machine lol once you’re in a group that all has pipes it’s a guessing game on if the machine is even running half the time lol 😂 I did my yfz the same way. All safety and comfort mods first. If I had a raptor I’d do it the same way then do suspension and widen it out so it handles like a yfz then add power later

First thank you for watching for so long I greatly appreciate it! i Run premium fuel. Around here that is 91 octane. unfortunately its extremely hard to get ethanol free fuel near me so i do make sure to add an ounce or two of seafoam or marvel mystery oil to the 5 gallon fuel jug.

@OdysseyOffroad2 ай бұрын
@@Tragyx 😂😂😂 80 hours? When you dump that oil out after the first hour and pull your oil filter you'll be glad you did. Also get rid of the yama lube and go with a real good synthetic. I change my oil every 10 hours and my filter every 20 after the first break-in. A little bit of maintenance adds to a long engine life.

@OdysseyOffroadАй бұрын
@travcon8 Yes that's one I use because they're pretty cheap but they also make ones that just attack vibration they just stick onto your frame someplace and they work very well also and they're just a little bit more pricey they're like $40 to $50. I get the cheap ones and put them on all my machines that don't come with a gauge cluster.
