Great looking fly!!! But since we are braking the rules, have you tried to use Chockletts GC chenille for heads ( large one ) and wind it really tight and then trim it???

If you think about it, "Candy Caning" is making wraps with space in-between creating a less thick body, whereas "touching wraps" creates a more thick body. I usually do candy canes on the rear hook and touching wraps on the front to help with proportions.

Brian, first off sorry I've been MIA for a little bit. There's been a family emergency kind of going on. The good thing is everyone is out of the hospital and doing fine and the perp is in jail.
