This was quite good.There are ways of spinning the guard off center as well using Lan Sao which opens the opponent's flank up.

Meu amigo de sparring é bem maior q eu 2 metros e 02 Usa essas guardas ...fico mais no contra ataque, vou usar essas dicas que ensinou ...e depois volto pra testemunhar o q aconteceu.

I would learn the definition of "guard" first. In self defense /proteccion there are no guards. This is one of the fundamental differences between sport fighting (concentual) and real life fighting (non concentual).

I have a better option. If you can't get out of the situation, the moment he gets into a guard, go. Why wait? You can't get out of the situation & you know an attack is imminent so when he's preparing to attack, take him off guard & run through him with attacks. WC hits first.

Probably a just as effective way is to kick them if they have a high guard up.
