Prince & Taj Jackson Talk Legendary History, Humanitarian Efforts, Musical History + More
Ever wonder what it’s like to be a Jackson? Prince & Taj, from the illustrious Jackson family, show they are still ordinary people. Michael Jackson Jr. aka Prince is the son of the
King of Pop himself and Taj is the son of the great Tito Jackson. These two bright young men bring smiles, laughter and tons of fond memories to the Top Billin’ set. This episode gives us an exclusive look into the most influential family in musical history
and the responsibility that comes with owning the renowned Jackson name. The song “Thriller” turned 40 this year and they have pulled out all the stops for the momentous occasion. Legendary history is revealed during this podcast and the two cousins disclose
all their ambitious endeavors for the future. Prince & Taj talk about their humanitarian efforts and goals to help the world with philanthropic charities they have created and how you can help be a force for change.

It's heartwarming to witness how Michael's children were able to find a loving and compassionate family after his passing. Paris, Prince, and Bigi were fortunate to stay together and receive love from TJ, Taryll, Taj, the aunties, uncles, grandmother, and all the cousins. They became a part of the Jackson family that takes care of one another. Undoubtedly, seeing his children happy would have been Michael's greatest wish. It's evident that the children are content and grateful to be embraced by this loving family.

I saw some candid videos on youtube and the Jacksons Next Generation show and honestly Prince came off as a little arrogant, but honestly he seems like a really down to earth and humble guy. He clearly is proud to be Michael's son and part of the Jackson family, but doesn't brag about it like many people would. He seems to be totally on top of his shit in life and I admire that. I'm sure Michael would be proud to see his son has grown up to be such a well rounded and modest person and his family did a great job picking up the slack after he passed away too. Say what you will about the Jackson family, but Prince Michael I really gives off a great vibe all around.

I love this energy. Just warmth and light and happiness! The thing that gets me is that people still don't know where Mamase mamasa ma makossa comes from. It's a song called "Soul Makossa" from the 1970s by a Cameroonian sax player named Manu Dibango. Song has a NASTY break beat. Michael's talked about it before, I'm just not sure where that was. As someone in the comments mentioned, it roughly means "I dance." Take a listen to the track because it goes HARD. (The sax is just funk exemplified!) Thank you so much for bringing so much positivity. I loved the energy of this interview :)

To be fair...they are a media and image conscious family and this is a professional interview not chopping it up in private with friends. Prince sounds just like his other private school educated cousins that were brought up in affluent surroundings that are speaking in public with someone in an interview. lol The only cousin that I can think of that sounds more "blackity black" even in interviews sometimes is Siggy. Other than that, I'm sure they code switch and relax their speech more in private. If you listen to any of 3T speak (and any of 2nd gen) he doesn't sound any different.
