Personally, I don't think that people are born with a sexuality but, rather, it is something that is cultivated in you through socialization and personal discovery.

My degree is in psychology, I studied trauma and its affects of child molestation. I also studied world religion. i don’t believe that all sexuality is born out of trauma. The culture conditions people to be straight, so to break the mold could easily be based on your idea of what a man is. trauma can affect how you go about your sexuality, but i don’t think it determines which gender you like. You could’ve had a positive experience as a kid . For me, i saw someone that really intrigued me, where i thought “i love this person”. Gym culture is pretty gay. Wrestling culture is gay. Hypermasculine cultures in general are homoerotic and those dudes marry women. Some men are gay and adopt a heterosexual life until they get divorced and then they seek same gender relationships. Not all gays were molested.

I’m gay and I also say that you’re not born that way. I enjoy women…. My stepmom abused me and broke my leg, and tortured me…my father was a coward he never protected me he was too busy sleeping with my step sister since she was 11 years old. So I sought love from women they replaced a motherly figure and I steered clear of men because I lacked trust in them, saw them as weak, and perverts. I wanted friendships from women not sex now that I’m older when he said that it resonated with me on another level because he spoke my heart…. Sometimes you want the love that you lacked growing up… now that I’m older …. I’m celibate and single because of the social contagion going on in society…ratchet is the new trend. I prefer deep thinkers and ppl with more goals than social media

Young teens making adult decisions when their brains aren’t fully developed is a problem. But for them live a life they don’t feel comfortable with isn’t fair either. So I don’t know what the answer is! I do know the answer for transitioning before your brain if fully developed is a HARD No! I’ve seen many that have said they regretted their actions!

Good deeds doesn't save you, you get rewards for your Good deeds,the only way to God is through Jesus christ,you must die to yourself, turn away from your sin and live for christ. You have to die to sin .Jesus said if you love me, then keep my commandments .It's very dangerous to give in to your sin nature with no repentance and depend on your Good deeds with the expectations to make it to heaven,your depending on your own works to get to God and not on jesus...
