That $1,600 in additional charges? That was for the $55 caps, sippy cup and t-shirt. If the XXL t-shirt is for the owner, it also comes with an additional $7,500 driver insertion/removal kit for the seats. That covers 17 shoe horns and an 8oz tub of vaseline.

crazy how expensive Rob quotes for a lot of these cars. Obviously location makes a huge difference. I live in Chattanooga TN and have rented a few cars in ATL. 488, Huracan, 600LT, F8, and 2020 R8 all between $800-1500/day after taxes. $3k for the F8 is mind blowing to me as a consumer of exotic rentals.

That's not just location dictating the price but the specific business itself. There's been several videos from other channels that discussed specifically Atlanta (and a few other locations) on how they are able to charge so much less for rentals. Some are shady companies who can spot a sucker rental customer a mile away and screw them on the back end of the rental where as others just don't understand the rental business and end up with what should have been a minor issue yet causes their company to impload. Nashville has also had a few of these here one day, gone the next luxury rental car agencies.I want to say Nashville also fell into that category of cities to be very careful when it comes to exotic rentals IIRC.

However Rob did say this in regards to the F8, and I'm just paraphrasing, "I don't usually buy these as rentals honestly, and that's because I'd have to charge (insert whatever crazy number he said.. $38-4000 I think). Now obviously I don't want to charge someone that much to rent a car, so I just don't get them. However I had a customer request one, and I was able to make the numbers work." Rob specifically stated that after the two or so months his client is going to have it, "if anyone wants to rent it... BEFORE I SELL IT... etc." So basically this tells me, Rob doesn't like to charge that much for an exotic rental either. He seems to find that price range absurd as well. However due to the retail price of this particular car, he'd HAVE to charge that much in order for it to make sense. So yeah, I think he agrees that the stated price is absurd and that leaves one to assume that his other rentals are decidedly much less money to rent as well. Possibly even as affordable as prices you've mentioned paying in the past, who knows? ...Well, Rob does I suppose.

If I'm right, you gotta respect him for actually listening to his subscribers, and try to steer back in the right direction. I don’t see how these hybrid supercars aren’t going to be just ruinous for 2nd owners some years from now. P1 owners can pay $200k for a battery but most other owners paying $200k for the whole car just aren’t going to do that. It seems like the used exotic lifecycle is going to be destroyed.

Honestly, a nice sports car. Mugello is a legendary racetrack. I watch all the MotoGP races and Mugello provides some classic races. On the back straight the MotoGP race bikes are going well over 220mph. Brad Binder on a KTM hit 227mph in a recent race.
