I've loved trucks since I was a toddler and could ride up there and listen to your stories for hours. Finally quit driving when traffic tripled out in Ca.,my ass had crept halfway to my shoulders and I was 67. Thanks for reminding me of miles gone by.

The folks that don't understand how cameras work are members of the We Didn't Go Cult who can't figure out why they can't see stars in the pictures taken on the moon. A ride along and story time with Paydirt is always a treat. Thanks again Jeff and Best Wishes to You, Your Family and Friends. #110500

New D7 wouldn’t keep up especially when it’s waiting to have something on the emissions system fixed. Something to be said about a guy that has good running older equipment in my opinion. Hell with all the big mouth gomers on here you do great Jeff thanks for sharing!

I broke the piñon shaft on a truck in downtown Burley coasted to a stop right in the middle of an intersection. The whole driveshaft fell onto the road. We put a new nosecone on the power divider right there in the intersection. I was only hauling a yard of concrete when it broke. Your power divider story made me think of this breakdown that happened in the 70’s

That was fun Jeff! Thanks! Getting bored sitting around home here. Not sure where we were at half the time but I was going just as fast as you! Here's a kid joke for ya, "what did the fish say when swam head on into the concrete wall??? Dam!" Enjoyed the pics of your younger days. We were young once. Take care Pal.

I know of a guy that has a 60 ton Fontaine that's convertible (you can change decks, configure different axles from a tandem, triple, 4 axle, 2+2, 2+1, 3+1, 2+2, ect...) and his light weight with truck, 2 axle jeep, and a 2+1 like yours is right at 60,000 and if he adds axles ect.. it can weigh 68,000 pounds.

Europe doesn't have to travel the distances hauling stuff like you do. With a 500 wheel trailer, you won't be doing 75 down the highway. you are right about Australia not having to contend with frost or snow except in a couple of areas like Tasmania and the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. Some of our roads aren't too flash, though being unsealed gravel. It would be a boring world if we all used the same gear for everything, don't you think? G'day from Tasmania

@GeorgeBarrett-ny1wi35 минут бұрын
Hey Jeff, I’m just curious - do you ever load the 9 with its blade facing the rear of the trailer? Wouldn’t it be potentially safer for oncoming traffic? Or is it all to do with weight distribution on the many axles & this takes priority? (great videos btw)
@mecamine24z10 сағат бұрын
You need some of them new fangled flashy LED things in your grill of that K-DUB and possibly some flashy things on the back of that there trailer so you don’t get ambushed from the rear in a sneak attack.
