I think this is smelling salts for all rappers, and all of us are waiting for some good Sh*** to come out of this, not for wanting division, just good F***cking hip hop, to revive one essential part of hip hop. I dont think everyone has to meet every benchmark, but SHEEESH!!!!!!!! the ones that do.......UNREAL

Kendrick seems like such a great person. Total role model. Like when they make a dig on someone, even jokingly, he doesn't judge them, like he'll laugh a little bit so they aren't feeling weird, and then follows it up with a compliment about that person. Even when he's talking about Ferguson and people's reaction, he doesn't seem angry, he just seems sad. That's a level of emotional intelligence that most people just don't reach.

Ken Lamar is still the best of the current generation. He is a true artist not a reality star. He seems like he's always in the creative process and that's probably why he's not doing tons of interviews. @@ccoww yeah TPAB is sort of an acquired taste. It’s a more dense album with so many underlying meanings. I had the same problem with TPAB, but I just listened to all of those songs independently, and the more you do so, the more it makes sense. I started with Alright, and then i, u, Institutionalized, and so on and so on. It works with a lot of very dense albums. The average person can’t pick up even 30% of albums like that on the first listen.

Being a fan and looking back at what Kendrick has been through to become one of the top artist in this industry is amazing. He literally resonates with his fans through music and continues to grow individually as a person who I respect and admire.

It’s funny how he said his favorite songs were Momma and These Walls because those are mine!!! They are a vibe!!! And make me feel something. Reading the lyrics years later just makes this album so much deeper and revealing. KDOT is a true poet and visionary

I look at Kendrick in this period and his look....the look in his eyes, the expression on his face, the way he speaks, the energy he gives and it reminds me of my brother who has schizoaffective disorder and it makes me wonder if what Kendrick says in the beginning of The Blacker the Berry is true "It's such a shame they may call me crazy, They may say I suffer from schizophrenia or something, but homie you made me"

Its 2020 and Kendrick Lamar is still on top. Kendrick is a true artist and he is true to himself and does not let the industry use him as a puppet. He is a true Musician..he hasn't let his music take a back seat to his lifestyle like many rappers have!

It's May 2021 and I was just listening to good kid m.A.A.d city the other day and my God yes, his music holds up. Kendrick tells stories. Each song is part of a bigger picture. That's what makes him so fascinating to listen to. We all wanna hear what he has to say. Every single album of his is great imo. Can't wait for the next album. Whenever that is because I'll wait forever if I have to 🤷🏾‍♀️
