Looks dang good, Hussey! I use canned diced taters on the flat top all the time. Found that it helps to dump them in a colander and give ‘em rinse first, they crisp up much better that way.

They crisped up some, but I think you're right, needed to be drained more. I drained some, just with the top, but not a lot come out.

I’d have to hurt ya!!😂 Don’t ever throw the slip away on anything!!! Put in ice cube trays and freeze!!! Use in soups and stews!!! And the cob, there’s a lot of corn milk in there for chowder. And don’t throw the egg shells at your neighbor, break them up and put around your veggie plants so the slugs and snail don’t get to them. I’ll take some country gravy also on top of my cowboy breakfast !!! Looks awesome!!!😋😋😋
