A 'breakfast' routine for 5 and a half minutes with no actual breakfast then finally... "However, I find I perform best when I eat a little bit of food" lol. That's what makes tim tim talk talk so good. Overanalyze to extreme minutia then out of the ashes make a simple and practical suggestion. Great job on vlogs tim, keep them up and keep being you.

Super interesting. I've been doing IF for quite 4 years and right now I'm starting my day with a bulletproof coffee with organic coconut oil and butter - works like a charm... I'm really into tracking and measuring ones progress as it's an absolute key element to success and reaching a goal. I would love to see a vlog where you show exactly how you measure for in a journal/app. It could be calories, sleep, mood etc.

So 8 years ago your breakfast video included egg beaters and frozen spinach microwaved in plastic Tupperware. Now you eat a bunch of manufactured oils and engineered animal extracts. What will your breakfast video be like in 2024? Space plasma eaten on a rocket ship seems plausible.

Hey Tim, Been doing Keto for 2 years. Why the endogenous ketones? Wouldn't it be better to just stay in ketosis the hard way and not consume more than 20 net carbs? I was interested before but after my research determined they were just an easy button and the hard way would be more effective and stable. Appreciate any comments on this or any real dialogue.

I used to do the high fat low carb thing for a couple of years. The bullet proof coffee with the MCT and grass-fed butter. I enjoyed it but I felt low energy without the coffee and developed a gut. I decided to go almost opposite with a whole food, plant based, high carb, low fat diet. Got my energy back, mentally sharp, lost 15lbs, gut is gone and my digestion is on point. Don't need coffee to poo. :) Anyway to each is own. Have you looked into plant based diet options? What's your opinion on it?

+Quentin B Good Lord, that may work for your genes, but I tried your high carb vegan diet and it almost killed me. I was pleased to learn that's because my genes which are probably more common than yours needs nutrition. most of what's on this video are foods food, not supplements. please consider some source of choline and fat so you can think. I wish you the best of health

Quentin B I trust Tim is transparent about who sponsors him. He does his research and personally tests things out. Though I would not eat the same breakfast, he gives a good explanation of why he eats these things. I would love to know his perspective or experience on a high carb, whole food, plant based diet.

Tried it. 2 years of misery, sickness and depression later, i am back to regular diet. And I grew up on mostly vegetarian food in India. I thought it would be easy for me. Now thanks to that diet, i get nauseous and start gagging as soon as i see a banana. And it was pain in the neck to always have large amounts of food to keep with that diet. And it did not improve any of the health issues I was having then. So no thanks.

Dearest Tim, I have recently started the slow-carb project for the 2nd time. The first time I tried I got frustrated because of conflicting information, and I am about to hit that point again. I have not eaten red meat ever in my life and don’t plan to anytime soon. I mostly live on water animals. I’ve seen it written that you say to keep Omega-3s to a minimum. I think it was twice a week. I can eat fowl occasionally, but not for every meal. It’s just too much for me. So, I’m left with eggs. To get enough protein I am eating the whole egg, which I don’t have a problem with (not concerned about cholesterol, mine has always been good), but I don’t know if that counters the effects of slow-carb and that’s why it’s suggested to add 1 yolk (for flavor) to a multiple whites recipe. I eat a lot of seeds and a healthy portion of nuts as a rule, but those apparently need to be greatly monitored. Somewhere I read about cottage cheese being all right, but thought all dairy was out on the 6 days repetitions. I need to hear it from the horse’s mouth, and not all of these varied sources. I am committed to doing this and getting results. Help please!

I'm just starting 4HD. There is a new protein drink made by Ensure. 30g protein with 6g of sugar the source for which is not specified. My question for you, Master, is will that sugar sabotage the effect of the slow carb diet? I started 4HD sort of cold, using Ensure as the basis for a smoothie. Added about 25g of spinach and 1/4 tsp of Moringa which I'm experimenting with. I did this for 4 days also following your guidance for a minimum 30 minutes of movement. As measured by my soon to be replaced scale, there was zero weight loss. This little recipe is super easy to prepare. But for maximum compliance do I really need to bite the bullet and follow the protocol in this video?

Then I intermittent fast for about 6-7 hours, usually having my lunch around 1:30-2:00pm. I used to weigh 220, I now utilize weight lifting, body weight, 40+ mile bike rides (sometimes while fasted), & gymnastic like stretches. I currently weight 180, and can easily see me achieving my ideal physique by next summer.

seems a lot of people are commenting are ignorant to intermitant fasting and the benefits of utilizing ketones, do some research before making such rash accusations. he eats plenty of good foods. people doing interminett fasting tend to either skip breakfest or jumpstart their ketones in the morning with healthy fats, which is an alternative fuel source to glucose.

Making my first real attempt at a ketogenic diet, though I'm starting to feel like I need the meter just to be confident I'm actually in ketosis, right now it's basically consisting of a high fat veggie smoothie in the afternoon and one big low carb meal for dinner. Great post none the less because it starts a conversation and I will be doing my research on that super beets product.
