I used to do the high fat low carb thing for a couple of years. The bullet proof coffee with the MCT and grass-fed butter. I enjoyed it but I felt low energy without the coffee and developed a gut. I decided to go almost opposite with a whole food, plant based, high carb, low fat diet. Got my energy back, mentally sharp, lost 15lbs, gut is gone and my digestion is on point. Don't need coffee to poo. :) Anyway to each is own. Have you looked into plant based diet options? What's your opinion on it?

Tried it. 2 years of misery, sickness and depression later, i am back to regular diet. And I grew up on mostly vegetarian food in India. I thought it would be easy for me. Now thanks to that diet, i get nauseous and start gagging as soon as i see a banana. And it was pain in the neck to always have large amounts of food to keep with that diet. And it did not improve any of the health issues I was having then. So no thanks.

Dearest Tim, I have recently started the slow-carb project for the 2nd time. The first time I tried I got frustrated because of conflicting information, and I am about to hit that point again. I have not eaten red meat ever in my life and don’t plan to anytime soon. I mostly live on water animals. I’ve seen it written that you say to keep Omega-3s to a minimum. I think it was twice a week. I can eat fowl occasionally, but not for every meal. It’s just too much for me. So, I’m left with eggs. To get enough protein I am eating the whole egg, which I don’t have a problem with (not concerned about cholesterol, mine has always been good), but I don’t know if that counters the effects of slow-carb and that’s why it’s suggested to add 1 yolk (for flavor) to a multiple whites recipe. I eat a lot of seeds and a healthy portion of nuts as a rule, but those apparently need to be greatly monitored. Somewhere I read about cottage cheese being all right, but thought all dairy was out on the 6 days repetitions. I need to hear it from the horse’s mouth, and not all of these varied sources. I am committed to doing this and getting results. Help please!

I'm just starting 4HD. There is a new protein drink made by Ensure. 30g protein with 6g of sugar the source for which is not specified. My question for you, Master, is will that sugar sabotage the effect of the slow carb diet? I started 4HD sort of cold, using Ensure as the basis for a smoothie. Added about 25g of spinach and 1/4 tsp of Moringa which I'm experimenting with. I did this for 4 days also following your guidance for a minimum 30 minutes of movement. As measured by my soon to be replaced scale, there was zero weight loss. This little recipe is super easy to prepare. But for maximum compliance do I really need to bite the bullet and follow the protocol in this video?
