I relate completely with Kelly. I learned to read round and shape notes in music. I also had the privilege to learn harmony and rhythm as well. All of the musical elements helped me to develop my musical skills and vocal range. Singing in choir or quartet settings as well as solo helped develop my ear for music. Believe me it helped me be a very well rounded singer. It was by no means easy but I was very grateful in the end.

I don,t understand the lanquage of music I just sing in harmony with someone else I am led of the Spirit I can,t plan things or not taught I have to rely on the Spirit even when I minister to others GOD knows what they need I just have to have a relationship with Him everything works out of that.

God gives some that musical ability with a trained ear and vocal and harmonic skills, without any formal training. God’s own “technical training”.

I sing in a quartet. And have an ear for parts .sometimes one will go up a note and i can hear that they need to go down instead of up. Harmony can be perfect if everyone knows their part correctly .
