I heard Iyanla say something once that I'll never forget. She said *you may think people have a negative opinion of you but that's not true. The truth is, they've experienced you negatively. Opinion suggests we've never had an encounter. These stories around Amanda are with people that actually have experienced...her*

Man and the comments show this to be truth. People that don’t know this woman have these profound stink pieces about her as if they grew up with her and know her personally. All they know is what bossip or tmz or lipstick alley or some KZbinr said and are taking that as gospel. Think for yourselves people and stop trying to tell Amanda who SHE IS and actually judge a tree by its fruit. Not by what TMZ, Instagram or a KZbin gossip channel said.

Amanda Seales is the definition of someone who NEVER takes accountability for THEIR actions and always has someone else to blame or pushing the "I don't know why no one likes me" narrative. It's incredible that there are literally so many people who don't like her, including many of her co-workers and people that know her, yet she STILL can't realize that SHE is the common denominator. Maybe you should change the way you treat people? It has nothing to do with being black, famous, rich, articulate, loud, etc. It has to do with YOU and the way that you TREAT OTHERS! Enough with the fucking excuses...
@marierhodes4735

I WOULD HAVE TO SAY I DISAGREE WITH MOST OF THIS STATEMENT. I HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE. BEING A STRAIGHT FORWARD DIRECT PERSON CAN GET YOU IN TROUBLE WITH MOST.... BUT IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DELIVERY. AS I'VE GOT OLDER (AND HOPEFULLY SHE WILL TO) YOU FIGURE OUT THAT IT'S THE APPROACH. AND YES BEING BLACK AND ARTICULATE CAN CAUSE A PROBLEM, ESPECIALLY IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY, BECAUSE NOW YOU THINK YOU ARE BETTER THAN MOST. I THINK IF SHE CHANGED HER APPROACH ON HER DELIVERY HER OUT COME WOULD BE DIFFERENT.

She could be nicer, but people could be less sensitive as well. Oftentimes, with personalities like hers or even someone mildly blunt, people are just gaslit into walking on eggshells for the sake of reading the room when the room could indeed be off. People will naturally follow the majority at that point for the sake of there being less friction.

People aren’t mad at you for being who you are Amanda thats you being authentic and genuine. People don’t like how you treat them, people don’t like how you make them feel. Shes misunderstood cause she has such a defense up bc she so hurt from her past experiences...she says she’s a crusader but life is not a 24/7 battle; balance is key she should be softer in her deliveries.

People throw out "critical thinking" when they really mean just holding an unpopular belief because it's cool and going against the grain seems smart. I've seen too many people support crack theories like flat earth theory, debunked science, and ahistorical "facts" claiming they're free thinkers. They can't even say the last book they sat down and read.. When you ask for an actual citation, rigorous peer reviewed studies, or some type of scholar approach it's "research for yourself".

My only disappointment is that it seemed like you WANTED these people to accept you (or exhibit cordiality toward you)....and you should NOT 🤷🏾‍♀️.
