Alicia has that thing that makes a confident woman so powerful, intelligent, and beautiful. Her energy, humor, humility, warmth, talent, strength, and most importantly, love is just incredible. I’m so happy to see her in a great place with her marriage, children and career.

@@cbounds3265 why must everyone go to that comment? How come y'all don't blame the men at all? Not trying to be rude but no one is perfect and i don't condone breaking up happy homes either but clearly it wasn't happy.. y'all ridicule her but was she married? No swizz beats was.. he broke his vows.. he was unhappy and he been wanted alicia keys before he got married and maybe stayed for the kids.. also do y'all not remember that alicia keys was grieving and lost her grandma during this time when she met him? She was not in her right state and he like some men saw her at her vulnerable state and could of told her he was separated and she found out later when it was too late.. all i am saying is sometimes its more to the story and we all human.. she was a single vulnerable grieving woman look at the time frame she got with him.. he made her want to live and feel alive.. if she is hypothetically a home wrecker she made a mistake but some people so quick to judge and hurt her mentally and dismiss her talents over Swizz beats being married? He made vows to commit .. and could have lied and etc.. so lets focus on her talents and music I'm sure other artist you may like have some hidden skeletons in their closet.. can we just appreciate her talent and who she is as a woman now? Not trying to come at you just get tired of some people always tainting her and her talents over one thing..

The match for Alicia Keys is Brian McKnight. She needs another musician/singer/songwriter to go against. Folks keep saying Beyonce, Rihanna but the only thing they have in common artist wise is that they are all women. You can't box in any of these legends like that.

I think Rihanna as well. Because she has diversity in vocal range. Whether it's slow, or fast she never seem to strain, or sound the same.

Wow! Fantastic interview. Never heard Ms. Keyes in this format. All that amazing writing/music 🎵🎶 she's shared with the world. Yeah she's NYC for sure! And I like the way she presented herself; it all worked out because she's truly gifted and amazing. Great interview!

I can't shake off the feeling, that Alicia Keys past management tried to turn down her inner NYC rawness only for the purpose to promote her as genre free as possible to the masses. I get the business side, but I am so so so happy to finally see the "princess"-image drop and hear her talk her beautiful mind. She has a heart of gold, who cares that she was/is a little New York tough, has edges and prefers/ed the pant suit to the dress. *Her music was and ist always classic soul, honest, down to earth, from the heart, for the people.* I love that she finally talks to us (fans) without overprotective filters. Sad that the tabloid shit and wrongful managment needed to happen, for her to find herself and the straight connection to us fans via formats like this. I just truelly enjoy listening to her talk about ordinary stuff and her music of course. She is just beautiful person inside and out.

How is she NYC rough? Lmao. Just because she was born there doesn’t make her tough. I’m from BK and trust me Alicia is like a white girl. I’m not sure what you’re seeing. You must’ve never been to NY. Y’all outsiders always say anything like you know about NY.
@lisacox5405
@lisacox5405 2 жыл бұрын
I disagree. Her NYC side was always shown. To be fair, she was young when she came out so maybe you are confusing some of that youthfulness for something else. I’m from the South and I remember when she first came out. That’s what I thought was cool about her…it was very clear she was from NYC. I would have never confused her for being from anywhere else. She almost reminded me of a bit more softened Mary J (when Mary first came out). She was a softer Mary J that could play the piano. And she hasn’t changed. I saw her in concert when she first came out. She was barely known at the time. She really is the same person.

40 now is def not like the 40 in your mothers era. I feel people are starting to look younger then their age. It's nice we have things now that can delay aging.

Less stress is why. We modern women don’t have half the stress our mothers and grandmothers had. I wouldn’t want to go back to any era and deal with the stuff they had to deal with.
