His love for his people is clearly genuine and from a good place plus he’s sharp. @@blakkadam260 What exactly is the "HELP" for blacks in need? Is it giving our people more money, resources, government funding so that there can be more affordable educational options etc...? I think that we've been given enough "Stuff" to be successful, it's my opinion that our minds are in such a chaotic state and clouded with trauma that's been unchecked yet embedded in our souls for generations. It's historically taboo for black people to heal properly by seeking counsel because when we seek help we're labeled as crazy by our own kind...so it's bottled up. I think that we need a mindshift first to recognize how great that we truly are IF we learn how to heal. Because if healing takes place then we can love, then we can learn, then we can thrive as a people. But it has to come from within...true healing is from center to circumference. Be well on your journey. 🙏🏾

What can black celebrities do that black communities as a whole can't? You don't need celebrities. You need unity. Nipsey Hussle assisted his community. What happened? Young Dolph assisted his community. What happened? PnB Rock? Black pastors profiting from black communities. Our people killing each other for streets they don't own. Our mindsets as a whole is poisoned. Weed, liquor, and the latest dance moves are more important that investing, education, and unification. So I ask again... What can celebrities do that black communities in itself can't do????

He is one of the main reasons the power structure is trying to silence Black men. The silencing of KI an KW had little to do with antisemitism. It was about shutting down Black Men from waking up their people. We are listening to our own and largely due to the internet providing endless forums for us to talk and share. Some people do not want us "woke". Look at how the term "woke" is tossed around by white Americans.

The Breakfast Club is part of the machine. There is no concern to do that. Think about it, you have a group of middle aged men and women leading that show that still dress and act like they're in their early 20s pretending to like current wack music that they know they don't listen to in real life. The con of what this is couldn't be more obvious to people with discernment.

That’s the problem with Americans, divided by race. Imagine if Mexicans divided by race like that, it would destroy Mexican unity if it was mestizo mexican vs indigenous-mexican vs white-Mexican vs Chinese-Mexican etc. because Mexicans have all these types. While addressing the Deion Sanders issue, he foretold the outcome of today's ruling passed by the US Supreme Court's decision to "GUT" affirmative action admission for minorities into major learning institutions and/or universities. I believe that our nations majority attempts at stripping away civil liberty laws such as these will be their undoing. Truthfully, this is only the beginning folks! IMO, Dr. Umar hands down has recognized and is articulating these issues profoundly more so, than any Black Voice currently speaking on a platform... His presentation was very good and his work is important. However he is one of several who has done the work or is still doing it. Minister Farrakhan is almost 90 and is still standing up for our people. The independent schools Dr Umar is building is following best practices of organizations like the Nation of Islam. He never mentions it but they build independent schools all over America and continue to manage these said schools in the black community. On a final note, much of what Dr Umar is saying is fundamentally the same struggle and message Garvey, Elijah Muhammed, Malcolm X, Farrakhan, Carmichael etc sounded. They all say it differently and in context of their time period but the issues remain the same.

I remember going to see him speak at a church in Chicago a few years back, and when he spoke you could feel the energy in the room shift from militant to hopeful in the same breath. That brother is beyond intelligent and speaks with assertion and eloquence.

If it was a church on the west side I took my son to see him speak. You are correct on how the energy changed. POWERFUL MAN

Same thing when he hit Bronx New York, I filmed his lecture. Folks can throw all the shade they want, but it is undeniable, that he is the premier influencer of Black Power and Panafricanist thought, of his generation.

How many people research his research ? He’s a great orator because he’s well spoken , but that often is what masks deception . Confidence , articulation , and throwing out interesting commentary often attracts people with small minds .

Listening to Dr. Umar gives me hope. He looks at everything from a 360 degree point of view. Almost all of black wealth have no investment in black lives or communities. And I’m glad dr Umar exposed that and said it loud. I agree with him 1000% .
